5/27/2014 -- Colorado 4 MILE LONG Landslide @ FRACKING operation! 3 People "missing"

Published on May 26, 2014

Undeniable screenshot proof of the FRACKING INJECTION WELL OPERATION at the Colorado landslide location here:

http://dutchsinse.tatoott1009.com/527...

____

Main stream media showing this location in their videos, clearly the only fracking / injection well operation for several miles in any direction:

39°15'50.15"N , 107°53'47.92"W

Should we be surprised? After all they are destroying the very foundation, in every area they frack in.

Death toll rises in western India mudslide

July 31, 2014

A mudslide surrounds a building in Malin village, western India, where the death toll has reached 21. Photograph: Barcroft Media

"The confirmed death toll from Wednesday's mudslide in western India has reached 21, with a further 129 people feared trapped in the wreckage of houses flattened during the incident.

Seven teams of 42 rescue workers each worked through the night at Malin village, 35 miles (60km) from the city of Pune in Maharashtra state. However, their efforts were hampered by incessant rain, mud and poor communications in the remote area..

Four earth-moving machines scooped out mud spread over an area the size of a football pitch. The frame of a motorbike floated by on a torrent of mud, a suggestion bodies could well be underneath. Small streams flowed into the area from surrounding hills.

The hillside above the village collapsed on Wednesday and heavy rain raised fears of another landslide.

The head of rescue operations at the national disaster response force said 21 bodies had so far been recovered, with 129 people feared trapped under the mud that covered dozens of houses."

Landslides After Heavy Rain Kill at Least 36 in Japan

August 20, 2014

rh-TYPHOON-17814e.jpg

"ASAHIKAWA, Japan — At least 32 people were killed and nine more were still missing in the western Japanese city of Hiroshima on Wednesday after heavy rain caused flash floods and landslides that buried victims alive as they slept in their homes, the police said. Hundreds of soldiers have been sent to the scene to dig for survivors. Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who had been on summer vacation, cut short a game of golf to rush back to Tokyo to lead the response to the disaster, government officials said. While deadly landslides are common in this densely populated, mountainous nation, death tolls rarely reach this high. According to the police, the dead included two young boys, brothers aged 2 and 11, who were both buried when a wall of mud engulfed their home in a neighborhood that sits at the foot of a steep mountainside. A firefighter also died while engaged in rescue operations, the police said. The landslides took place around 3:30 a.m. local time, after rainfall of up to four inches per hour was recorded by the national weather agency. Many of the victims appeared to be asleep when entire hillsides, heavy with the weight of rainwater, suddenly gave way."

"Heavy rains in northwest Colombia caused a landslide that killed at least 64 people as mud rushed into homes and bridges, officials said.

At least 37 people were injured in Monday's landslide in the municipality of Salgar, about 60 miles (100 kilometers) southwest of Medellin, President Juan Manuel Santos said.

Guatemala mudslide death toll rises to 86 – houses buried under 50 feet of earth

Hope is all but gone Sunday that any survivors will be found from the massive landslide on the outskirts of Guatemala’s capital. The death toll has risen to 86 and is expected to continue to rise as emergency crews dig through tons of earth for an estimated 350 missing people. Distraught relatives of the victims shoveled alongside diggers through the mounds of earth that destroyed homes in Santa Catarina Pinula on the southeastern flank of Guatemala City after Thursday night’s collapse of a hillside. Every batch of earth turned up by the diggers held more personal belongings, from mattresses and books to toys and Christmas decorations.

Clutching photos of loved ones, family members stood in line outside a makeshift morgue near the excavation site, some of them crying, to see if they recognized any corpses. “This is the worst thing that has happened to us,” said one woman who was waiting for news about 21 missing family members.

Huge Crack In The Earth Opens Up In The Foothills Of The Bighorn Mountains[GALLERY]

October 27, 2015

Brian Scott

"Over the weekend a number of reports came in about a crack in the earth showing up in the southern foothills of the Big Horn Mountains. A friend of ours, Randy Becker was in the area and captured the above images of the collapse and shifting of the soil and rock in the area. Estimates by some put the area at 750 yards long by 50 yards wide."

Landslide Buckles Vasquez Canyon Road; 2-Mile Stretch Closed Indefinitely

"A portion of Vasquez Canyon Road remained closed indefinitely Friday after a landslide prompted buckling and significant damage along a 2-mile stretch in the Canyon Country area.

"This isn’t just the road; it’s the mountain itself that’s moving and it’s pushing the road up," said Paul Funk with L.A. County Department of Public Works.

The roadway was closed Thursday between Lost Creek Road and Vasquez Way after public works officials first noticed the shift around 10:30 that morning.

The closure was said to be indefinite and would likely last for "a long time," Funk said.

In less than 24 hours, the roadway changed from appearing slightly tilted to being very badly damaged.

More than half the road was lifted some 15 feet in the air, with dirt from the neighboring hillside sliding underneath and causing significant cracks."

A slide blocks Interstate 5 northbound near Woodland Wednesday afternoon.

"Driving north into Cowlitz County from the Portland area became just about impossible Wednesday.

Cowlitz Interstate 5 northbound will be closed north of Woodland through Wednesday night because engineers have determined that the slide that closed it earlier in the day is too unstable to start cleaning up.

In addition, multiple 30 slides between Rainier and Columbia City had Highway 30 closed to northbound traffic, and the only way around those blockages were through windy and treacherous rural Columbia County roads.

The freeway slide near Woodland, reported at about 3:30 p.m., was so unstable that engineers didn’t even want to approach it with excavating equipment can’t be cleaned up."

Residents evacuated from seaside homes teetering on the brink as California cliffs crumble into the ocean amid violent El Nino storms

January 26, 2016

 SNEJANA FARBEROV

"The City of Pacifica, California, has declared a state of emergency and ordered the evacuation of several homes perched atop coastal bluffs that are at risk of crumbling into the ocean as a result of relentless El Nino storms.

Dramatic drone footage posted on YouTube over the weekend captured huge chunks of the cliffs falling into the surf, with condemned apartment buildings atop teetering precariously on the edge.

Residents were forced out of two compromised clifftop homes Monday, joining the inhabitants of several other nearby properties and apartment buildings abandoned in past years.

Big crack in mountain causes concern

Lauren Handley

April 28, 2016

Video at link

"Logan Township, Blair County, Pa.

We have been following new developments on a large crack in the hillside behind a couple of stores in the Logan Town Centre in Blair County.

The crack is smaller at its beginning near Ashley Home Furniture and then moves up the side of the mountain toward Ross clothing store.

A few weeks ago, it looked to be about a foot wide.  As of Thursday, it's grown to about ten feet wide.  A surveyor from the EADS group was on the mountain and said they first measured it to be 15 feet deep.

He said they've been out two times each week to survey the fault and get an idea of how the ground is shifting.

A Logan Township Police Officer was keeping an eye on the area and said he heard the problem is that underneath all the slate is clay.  Rain has especially lubricated the clay, causing the ground to shift.

Blair County Emergency Services Director Mark Taylor said PEMA gave the Logan Town Centre owners an emergency permit for repairs last week. "

So after seeing this I got to wondering about the N.A. Craton  in relation to this crack.  Pics below

Wonder how many people there know about the NA Craton and how it's been slipping?  That Island up there is Long Island and Altoona is close to that edge of brown, but in the purple area that says Deformed Craton.

Monster landslide rocks Southeast Alaska

July 3, 2016

Jillian Rogers

lamplugh-glacier-landslide-1-736x452.jpg

Haines pilot Paul Swanstrom spotted this massive landslide on the Lamplugh Glacier near Glacier Bay on June 28, 2016. (Photo courtesy Paul Swanstrom)

"A massive landslide, estimated to be around six-and-half miles long, near Glacier Bay has scientists in New York clambering to get to Southeast. The slide happened Tuesday morning, and was discovered by a local pilot.

On Tuesday morning, when Paul Swanstrom saw the dust cloud hovering over the Lamplugh Glacier, he said he knew what it was immediately.
“You bet because we’ve seen these landslides before,” he said. “It made the air a little dusty, but it’s not any danger, no.”

This landslide in Glacier Bay National Park, like the ones in 2014 and 2012, sent millions of tons of debris spilling down the mountainside. According to the Alaska Earthquake Center it happened at 8:21 a.m. Swanstrom flew over it about two hours later.

Tuesday’s slide toppled down the glacier for approximately six and a half miles, though the official size is still unknown. But early estimates rival the giant Glacier Bay slides in the past several years. It may have even been the biggest yet.

“The other one, a couple, four years ago, that was really big went down about four miles, four and a half miles, and it was in a narrow canyon,” Swanstrom said. “This thing is longer and much bigger in many ways.”

Battered by winter storms, Big Sur is cut off from California

Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge on Highway 1 has been closed and condemned due to damage from storms in Big Sur, Calif. on Wednesday, March, 8, 2017. (LiPo Ching/Bay Area News Group)

"BIG SUR — Isolated residents of this breathtaking coastal retreat are surviving through stockpiled food, airlifts and cooperation after this wild winter’s storms have cut off Big Sur, buckling a bridge and burying the asphalt along America’s most picturesque highway.

One key bridge could be out of service for a year. Instead of the rich and famous dropping by for spa treatments at the Post Ranch and Ventana Inn, helicopters are dropping supplies to about 450 remaining residents of this glorious ZIP code. The community has turned to self-governing; there’s no law enforcement, elected officials, public services or tourists.

For three weeks, Big Sur has not only been cut off from California — it’s also been cut in half.

“Before, with other natural disasters, we were isolated as all one, together,” said Jon Knight, fire captain with the Big Sur Volunteer Fire Brigade, who lives south of the debilitated Pfeiffer Canyon Bridge, while his wife and young daughter have moved north, for her work. “The problem with this is that it’s divided the community right in half.”

South of the downed bridge are the fire station; post office; and Big Sur’s famous but now-shuttered retreats like Nepenthe restaurant, Deetjen’s Big Sur Inn, Post Ranch Inn, Ventana Inn and the Esalen Institute. To the north: schools, medical care, grocery stores, hardware stores, livestock supplies and almost all the locals’ homes.

Starting Friday, a steep and narrow half-mile footpath — for residents only — will open for 15 minutes at a time, three times a day, linking both sides of Big Sur’s divide."
