Alan Watts - The Real You

greetings all. i hadn't heard of this person before, but this short video, called "the Real You" spoke to me. Maybe you've heard him before and I'm just late to the party, who knows. I hope someone else is moved by this in the same way I am. peace.

T, How do we know what is real, what is disinfo and what is just a money grab? Everything seems to conflict. They don't channel. So does that mean the chani entity is draconian, disinfo or plain BS? I have no idea what the f to believe; how to separate the wheat from the chaff. I am just trying to take as much in as I can so that I can hopefully recognize the truth when/if something does happen. Any suggestions welcome. west
  3. Hi all Thought this might interest some of view. This reminds me of those UFO reports in which witnesses describe a geometric object changing shapes. From New Scientist - check the link for a video. http://www.newscientist.com/blogs/nstv/

    PAN - ALL

    Hi narnug http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Montauk_Project
  5. This thread is getting pretty long & unwieldy, so I'll just make it that much longer. I didn't see this one posted. I watched it last night after tivo-ing it off H2. It investigates lost sunken cities, the first of which is the most interesting - Alexandria, Egypt. Since the site hasn't been looted, it's a trove of discoveries. Ancient Discoveries Season 4 Episode 1 - Mega Structures of the Deep {s04e01} Full Length new to me, anyway. here's a taste:

    Good site recommendations?

Thanks Neo! You may be correct regarding participating in the grahm hancock site - I am just a lurker there!

    Good site recommendations?

Besides Chani , can anyone link to some decent fortean sites that are updated regularly - blogs, discussion boards, etc...? I love Chani (although wish it were more active), but I am absolutely sick to death of ATS and the nonsense there, and although there are a number of good contributors which draw me back in, sifting through the BS is tiresome. I'll throw out some sites that I enjoy (I hope this is ok, mods). I'm not a very active participant on any of these sites, but really enjoy reading others POV: http://ufocasebook.conforums.com/ - UFO forum -very smart/thoughtful/respectful members, although not especially active http://www.forteantimes.com/latest/breaking-news/ - General weirdness news site, linking oddball and/or fortean news from online resources http://www.cryptomundo.com/ - cryptozoology blog run by Loren Coleman and others. http://www.grahamhancock.com/forum/default.htm - Forum generally focusing on ancient mysteries (pyramids/maya, etc...). Very intelligent members, many of whom seem to be academics of one form or another. http://caravaca-files.blogspot.com/ - Blog dealing with UFO's and high-strangeness. Isn't updated as often as I'd like. http://mysteriousuniverse.org/ - Blog about high-strangeness, the universe, ancient civs, ufo's etc... http://www.newscientist.com/ - commercial site dealing with cutting edge science of physics/space, but nothing "out-there". It may be run by skeptics! Anyway, that's a few of my regularly perused sites. If anyone has others they'd like to contribute, I'd love to know about them! Best to all in the new year, west
  8. Doh! Didn't realize that was the link in your original post, Unity!
  9. This is an oldie! The following link pretty much explains this one. http://forgetomori.com/2010/fortean/time-traveler-caught-in-museum-photo/ best to all! west
  10. ahhh, Neo! Usually, living in the city I get ZERO visibility on anything neat celestially speaking. This ONE time, I got lucky looking in the one direction I have any visibility! and by accident - I went back out an hour or so later and the moon had already set. Hoping for a happy 2012 to all Chani folk, bringing with it what it may.
  11. I witnessed this in Boston this evening. I stepped out on the porch, and saw the pair to my southwest. It was a beautiful sight!
  12. http://www.examiner.com/architecture-design-in-national/massive-1-100-year-old-maya-site-discovered-georgia-s-mountains/url] Archaeological zone 9UN367 at Track Rock Gap, near Georgia’s highest mountain, Brasstown Bald, is a half mile (800 m) square and rises 700 feet (213 m) in elevation up a steep mountainside. Visible are at least 154 stone masonry walls for agricultural terraces, plus evidence of a sophisticated irrigation system and ruins of several other stone structures. Much more may be hidden underground. It is possibly the site of the fabled city of Yupaha, which Spanish explorer Hernando de Soto failed to find in 1540, and certainly one of the most important archaeological discoveries in recent times. I can't wait to hear more about this!
  13. I always thought this project was interesting evn though from my perspective they are pretty loose connecting world events with past web bot predictions. FWIW this post seems desperate. http://halfpasthuman.com/grace.html
  14. Just an interesting link... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/africaandindianocean/egypt/8883173/Pyramids-closed-by-11.11.11-threat.html
