  1. Update... I guess he made it... Snip: Hollywood director James Cameron has plunged nearly 11km (seven miles) down to the deepest place in the ocean, the Mariana Trench in the western Pacific. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17503395 Cz

    The JellyFish and BEZERK

Robojelly coming to a beach (or reactor) near you... Snip: Engineers in the US say they have invented a hydrogen-powered robot that moves through water like a jellyfish. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17444008 Cz
  3. Well another up date on the rocket barrage... Snip: After a series of delays due to bad weather and a technical glitch, NASA is aiming to launch the five-rocket barrage as early as late Tuesday night. The sky display may puzzle and amaze some unsuspecting observers, so before you call to your local news or police, here is why this is happening and when you may see it. 4. I wanted to add this link here as it refers to the "artificial volcano solution" as well... Link to posted thread: http://thechaniproject.com/forum/index.php/topic,259.new.html#new Link to article: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17400804 Cz

It seems they haven't given up on warming the Earth yet...under guise of cooling it maybe... Snip: Scientists told UK MPs this week that the possibility of a major methane release triggered by melting Arctic ice constitutes a "planetary emergency". In summer, seawater would be pumped up to the top using some kind of renewable energy, and out through the nozzles that are now being developed at Edinburgh University, which achieve incredibly fine droplet size. In an idea first proposed by US physicist John Latham, the fine droplets of seawater provide nuclei around which water vapour can condense. The idea of putting dust particles into the stratosphere to reflect sunlight, mimicking the cooling effect of volcanic eruptions, would in fact be disastrous for the Arctic, said Prof Salter, with models showing it would increase temperatures at the pole by perhaps 10C. And last year, the cloud-whitening idea was also criticised by scientists who calculated that using the wrong droplet size could lead to warming - More at link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17400804 Cz
  6. I agree...once the damage is done...Does it smell like bar-b-que?? Any side effects show up five years later since the 2007 test were done?? Well they ain't sayin'... Cz
  7. An update if you want to watch the show... NASA Rocket Barrage Should Provide Skywatching Treat Snip: NASA will launch five rockets in five minutes Wednesday (March 14) to study fast-moving winds at the edge of space, and many skywatchers along the United States' mid-Atlantic coast will be able to watch the show. "They occur in the middle of the night, and they glow," ATREX principal investigator Miguel Larsen, of Clemson University, told reporters March 7. "It's not extremely bright, but it's definitely visible." link: http://news.yahoo.com/nasa-rocket-barrage-skywatching-treat-185803819.html Well alrighty then... Enjoy... Cz
  8. Thanks for the Vids Bree... Yea I noticed...I did my research after I started the thread and found out that it has been around since at least 2007...maybe longer... Perhaps it resurfaced because they are going to need crowd control real soon... \ Cz
  9. Stop...I have a heat weapon pointed at you...Now, here hold this popcorn...lol Snip: A sensation of unbearable, sudden heat seems to come out of nowhere -- this wave, a strong electromagnetic beam, is the latest non-lethal weapon unveiled by the US military this week. To be used in mob dispersal, checkpoint security, perimeter security, area denial, infrastructure protection, the US military envisions a wide array of uses. http://news.yahoo.com/us-military-unveils-non-lethal-heat-ray-weapon-032512781.html Coming to an OWL event near you... 10. I wanted to add this... Everyone should be allowed to have their say...Even NASA... \ http://news.yahoo.com/nasa-video-crushes-2012-mayan-apocalypse-claims-125802329.html And link to video: http://www.space.com/14830-12-21-2012-day.html This vid is set with auto play and will play the next vid in line...There are lots of good vids at this site... 11. Snip: Director James Cameron has said that he is close to diving 11km (seven miles) down to the deepest part of the ocean, the Mariana Trench in the western Pacific. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17289535 Here we go... Cz
  12. Chem-trailing for the 21 century?? snip: If all goes as planned, the five ATREX sounding rockets will launch within 320 seconds, releasing chemical tracers into the high-altitude jet stream. The tracers will then form milky white clouds, allowing scientists to track the atmospheric region's winds, which can exceed 300 mph (483 kph). http://news.yahoo.com/nasa-rocket-barrage-study-winds-edge-space-182802465.html Cz
  13. Remember a few months ago there was a flare that came off of Venus during a SOHO vid?? Well maybe it wasn't lens flare... Snip: Strange, gigantic explosions fueled by solar energy detonate just above the surface of Venus, a new study finds. "Hot flow anomalies release so much energy that the solar wind is deflected, and can even move back toward the sun," Sibeck said. "That's a lot of energy when you consider that the solar wind is supersonic — traveling faster than the speed of sound — and the HFA is strong enough to make it turn around." http://www.space.com/14796-venus-space-weather-explosions.html Cz
  14. Alien invaders threaten Antarctic fringes Snip: The fringes of Antarctica are being invaded by alien plants and tiny animals, scientists have found. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/science-environment-17258799 Cz

Anyone following or going on this Galactic trip?

Thanks Kai...I hadn't seen this... I am intrigued by this story...and yes he seems sincere... I will keep an eye on this thread for a while... thanks again... Cz
