Rockets hit Russian embassy in Damascus

Two rockets have reportedly hit the Russian embassy in the Syrian capital, Damascus, with no further details available at this point.

Early reports on Tuesday morning indicate that Takfiri terrorists fired two shells at the embassy as scores of people had gathered around the compound to express appreciation for Moscow for its air support in Syria’s battle against militants in the country.

An AP report said that the fist shell struck an area inside the Russian embassy in central Damascus and “smoke billowed from inside.” It added that the next shell landed in the area as people were fleeing the site.

Could somebody pass this on to our world leaders...

Well, since most politicians don't have any, they might not understand the point. Someone else's smashed balls would be considered acceptable collateral damage, as long as the mosquito is smashed as well, unless that mosquito is paid by the same politicians, in which case the collateral can be considered as the hidden agenda.

Pepe Escobar at his best - I can but enjoy his humorous style spiced with sarcasm and irony

Say hello to my cruise missiles: Escobar

OCTOBER 12, 2015

The New Great Game in Eurasia advanced in leaps and bounds last week after Russia fired 26 cruise missiles from the Caspian Sea against 11 ISIS/ISIL/Daesh targets across Syria, destroying all of them. These naval strikes were the first known operational use of state-of-the-art SSN-30A Kalibr cruise missiles.

All it took for the Pentagon was a backward look over the shoulder at the flight path of those Kalibr missiles – capable of striking targets 1,500 km away. Talk about a crisp, clear, succinct message from Moscow to the Pentagon and NATO. Wanna mess with us, boy? With your big, bulging aircraft carriers, maybe?

Russian navy ship fires cruise missiles at ISIS in Syria

Moreover, on top of the creation of what is a de facto no-fly zone over Syria and southern Turkey, the Russian Navy cruiser Moskva, carrying 64 S-300 ship-to-air missiles is now docked in Latakia.

The proverbial anonymous US sources could not but go on overdrive, spinning the Russians had four wayward missiles that landed in Iran. The Russian High Command ridiculed them; all missiles landed within eight feet of their targets.

The Pentagon didn’t even know the Kalibr could be fired from small ships — as Tomahawks require much larger ships.

The best the Pentagon could muster, apart from widespread apoplexy, was NORAD commander Adm. William Gortney telling the Atlantic Council Russian long-range aviation and long-range cruise missiles present a new “threat” for US strategic homeland defense.

The Russian cruise missile threat is a “particular challenge for NORAD and for Northern Command.” Oh, really?

Talk about a New Great Game-wide understatement. A case can be made that Russia’s military development over the past few years has put Moscow generations ahead of the US. In case of a Hot World War 3.0 – and nobody, apart from the usual Dr. Strangeloves, could possibly want that — missiles and submarines will be the key weapons, not US-style monster aircraft carriers.

The Pentagon is apoplectic because this display of Russian technology revealed the end of the American monopoly over long-range cruise missiles. Pentagon analysts were still working under the assumption their range was around 300 kilometers.

Moreover, NATO has been warned; Russia can crush them, in a flash — as I witnessed in conversations in Germany last week. Fiery rhetoric of the “you’re violating my air space!” variety also won’t cut it.

Welcome to hell week in Syria

In Iraq, a plebiscite is being considered to remove the 3000 Americans there who have hampered operations against ISIS from the start.

American bases are ISIS bases.

Russian Military Uses Syria as a Proving Ground, and The West Takes Notice

October 14, 2015

Steven Lee Myers and Eric Schmitt

"WASHINGTON — Two weeks of air and missile strikes in Syria have given Western intelligence and military officials a deeper appreciation of the transformation that Russia’s military has undergone under President Vladimir V. Putin, showcasing its ability to conduct operations beyond its borders and providing a public demonstration of new weaponry, tactics and strategy.

The strikes have involved aircraft never before tested in combat, including the Sukhoi Su-34 strike fighter, which NATO calls the Fullback, and a ship-based cruise missile fired more than 900 miles from the Caspian Sea, which, according to some analysts, surpasses the American equivalent in technological capability.

American officials say Russia has closely coordinated with its allies to plan its current fight. Maj. Gen. Qassim Suleimani, the head of Iran’s paramilitary Quds Force, went to Moscow in late July in an apparent effort to coordinate on the Russian offensive in Syria, and he is also spearheading the Iranian effort to assist Iraqi militias. “The broad outlines were decided months ago,” said Lt. Gen. Richard P. Zahner, formerly the Army’s top intelligence officer in Europe and in Iraq.

American officials, while impressed with how quickly Russia dispatched its combat planes and helicopters to Syria, said air power had been used to only a fraction of its potential, with indiscriminate fire common and precision-guided munitions used sparingly. It is clear the Russians are already harvesting lessons from the campaign to apply to their other military operations, said David A. Deptula, a retired three-star Air Force general who planned the American air campaigns in 2001 in Afghanistan and in the gulf war.

“Essentially,” he said, “Russia is using their incursion into Syria as an operational proving ground.”

ISIS In "Retreat" As Russia Destroys 32 Targets While Putin Trolls Obama As "Weak With No Strategy"

Perhaps the most amusing thing about Russia’s intervention in Syria is the degree to which it made the world wake up and question the West’s “anti-ISIS” strategy.

While everyone has been quick to characterize Moscow’s actions as the latest and perhaps greatest example of Vladimir Putin calling Washington’s bluff, it’s important to understand exactly why that’s an accurate characterization here. That is, this is more than just Moscow betting it could support Assad and Washington would simply move out of the way.

This was Russia and Iran realizing that the only reason the US and its regional allies have been able to keep up appearances in the eyes of the public with regard to the “campaign” against ISIS, is because the public has never seen what happens when someone powerful makes a serious effort to eradicate the group. Once Russia moved in, gave the superpower greenlight for Iran to abandon all pretense that it isn’t also directly involved, and began racking up gains in a matter of days, the Western public was left to wonder why the US couldn’t accomplish in 13 months what Russia appeared to have accomplished in a matter of (literally) 72 hours.

Then, just in case anyone was tempted to write off the discrepancy as a lack of US resolve or (gasp) diminishing American military capability, Moscow very publicly asked the US to join Russia in striking terrorist targets. Putin effectively said this: “You’re obviously no good at this, but that’s ok because we’re all in this together, so come help us.”

Just a slanting look over the military power shown over Syria by Russia.

The US military should be worried how they are selling their weapons to other countries.

The US is known only to provide the shell plans for the aircraft and other military units to other countries.

UK copped it (they couldn't even launch Tomahawks because the US friggin changed GSP codes just prior to them wanting to launch Tomahawks....so now EU got a separate system to replace GSP, and Japan is following the suit), Japan copped it, South Korea copped it, and South East Asian countries are copping it.

After contracting huge $s worth to pay to the US military, and spending awful lot of $s to build all hardware, then only later to find out the US military will not give any software required...so basically all countries are realising that buying any weapons from the US is USELESS.

(Basically it gave an important lessen to the world that you gotta build your own weapons to protect your own country, but whether that's a healthy way to be, I really dunno............)

After Russia shown all these weapon powers (it's like a smorgasbord for the peeps who want to see the actual power of those gears, hey) in reality, perhaps the US should worry that they may lose all the sales and contracts over weapons from now on.

More change would be followed by Japan entering into the full scale military weapon sales.

Chinese gears would be taken away from the region in favour of Russians and Japanese weapons, then China would lose huge income.

More and more change in the picture to happen...

Russia, Iran Begin "Promised" Assault On Syria's Largest City In Final Bid To Restore Assad

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/16/2015

Iranian forces backed by Russian air power have officially begun the assault on Syria's largest city. A victory at Aleppo would effectively restore the Assad government just weeks after Moscow began bombing runs from Latakia. As Reuters notes, "the assault means the army is now pressing insurgents on several fronts near Syria's main cities in the west, control of which would secure President Bashar al-Assad's hold on power even if the east of the country is still held by Islamic State."

ISIS to Christians in Sweden: 'The Caliphate Is Here', Now 'Convert or Die'

October 16, 2015

Leah Barkoukis

"Assyrian Christians in Sweden are on edge after receiving several threatening messages linked to the Islamic State recently.

Graffiti that read “the caliphate is here” and “convert or die” was painted on two stores owned by Assyrians earlier this week, as was the Arabic letter ‘N,’ short for Nazarene, Swedish newspaper Dagens Nyheter reports."

ok, so when does the bombing of Sweden start?  Yes, being facetious, but think of the EU being overrun right now by fighting age males.  Part of the destabilization of Europe plan?

From Jim Stone--October 19, 2015--Commentary on Russia, China, "ISIS"

The following from Jim Stone.

Commentary on Russia, China, "ISIS"

There is obviously a lot going on right now with Russia. Any time the political scene gets as active as it is right now, truth becomes difficult to separate from fiction. Here is what I think is the most probable scenario right now, based on all the rumors, and whatever hard fact is out there:

First of all, Russia has in effect propositioned many surrounding nations to form a loose alliance that looks a lot like the old Communist bloc. This time it is not being done for the purpose of any sort of conquest, it is being done for the purpose of keeping the CIA out. I think Russia was not acting on internet rumors or even good intelligence on the ground prior to starting their attacks on ISIS, intelligence and rumors that stated it was all CIA. Even if they knew for certain it was CIA, they held off and were quiet and inactive until they got boots on the ground and proved it in irrefutable terms.

Now that Russia knows beyond all doubt that America was in fact ISIS, and that ISIS was in fact nothing but a front for the CIA, and that "Islamic terror" itself is just a front for the CIA, they are telling a large alliance of old satellite nations to harden their borders "against terrorists" openly, and "against the CIA, because the CIA is the terrorist" behind closed doors. Not really closed doors, I'd say it is more like half cracked open doors anyone can sit outside of, with no cover music or rumblers to prevent anyone from hearing what is being said inside . . . . .

Yesterday, (the 18th) Russia revealed that large numbers civilian factories and businesses, wholly owned by civilians, were bombed to smithereens by "someone with aircraft". And these businesses had nothing to do with war or anything of the sort. They proved that the damage signatures which "erased" the businesses could not possibly have come from any sort of ground assault, only direct aggression from the air. They proved that Syria and Assad did not do it, and then asked the question "Who has been flying aircraft in this area, to do so much damage to civilian infrastructure?" And there are only two possibilities, America and Israel. In one fell swoop, Russia proved in front of the world that America was not in Syria to do anything against ISIS at all, America was in fact in Syria to destroy as much of the nation as possible. And that does not look good.

This opens up a huge can of worms then. It proves America lied about everything. And if ISIS really is CIA, and ISIS destroyed antiquities (as reported previously many times), it means America was in Syria destroying antiquities just for a cheap psy op. This can of worms is SO HUGE it could infect an entire kennel, with the American people being the unwitting dogs taking the hit. Clearly no American would want to have the government intentionally wiping out ancient historical sites, but that makes little difference. America is at least on it's face a "democracy", which means the American people are responsible for it all, just like anyone who falls asleep at the wheel while driving is responsible for any unwanted disaster that results . . . . . .

Russia has played it all so cool, in the most painfully disciplined way, that they can't be accused of stoking any sort of provocative propaganda B.S. as well. All Russia did was quietly and slowly present the facts as they were proven out 100 percent beyond any and all doubt and let it all fall where it landed in the course of logic. It is game over for American credibility, at least it is with enough of a core of nations to set the stage for an even battle during world war 3. And Russia did it in a way that undermined America even with America's core support, officially recognized or not.

As a result, China got a lot more bold and has authorized the direct use of force against the U.S. Navy in the South China sea. And it would be rock stupid for the navy to confront the Chinese and push where they really do not need to push, because as I have said before, nukes win against aircraft carriers any day.

And what would really be the consequence for China blowing the Navy sky high within territory they claim as their own? Out in the ocean, it equals "nuclear test" environmentally and it would just happen and be done with. And I doubt the U.S. or Israel would nuke mainland China in return, because NOW CHINA KNOWS ISIS IS CIA, AMERICA LIED LIED LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING, AND THAT IT IS ALL OR NOTHING BECAUSE THAT IS ALL IT EVER IS WHEN DEALING WITH A COMPLETELY CORRUPTED LIAR. Israel may well have in place their "samson option" but what good would that do if China cratered them in even 10 locations? Israel is stuck. America is stuck. If china has the guts to dig in and say NO, what on earth could America or Israel do about it? If lacking all credibility after bad behavior in Syria, for America it becomes check mate. China keeps the islands and that is all there is to it.

What can America do about it? What can America do now that Russia has busted the CIA for "Islamic terror" and has proven that at least for the most part, Islamic terror was an American/Israeli circus act? If Russia successfully seals out the CIA and causes the CIA to get blocked out of many many former Soviet states, and takes China with them, what can America do about it? And then there is another point - the high quality aircraft that Sukhoi can put out, the fact that China now also can mass produce ultra high quality fighter/bombers, and that between Sukhoi and China, they have six of the top 10 combat aircraft in the world and the ability to crank them out in droves? How is that going to look when corruption is robbing America so badly that America can't even put out a decent fighter aircraft for even top dollar?

Outside the corruption stream, military tech is now cheap. Hillary made sure China and Russia has it. No one is going to accept being over run by a liar that has effectively been busted for destroying antiquities and running the world like a puppet show. The writing is on the wall . . . . .

Breaking Story: Israeli General Captured in Iraq Confesses to Israel-Isis Coalition

By Nahed Al-Husaini on October 21, 2015

“There is a strong cooperation between MOSSAD and ISIS top military commanders...Israeli advisors helping the Organization on laying out strategic and military plans, and guiding them in the battlefield”

Editor’s note:  General Shahak was captured by Shiite militia and is still being held in Iraq.  His captors are keeping DESI informed, a European security organization with close ties to VT.  The article below is based on questions we submitted to his captors this morning.  We also inquired as to the conditions under which he is being held... GD ]

…by  Nahed Al Husaini, VT Bureau Chief Damascus

USA Parliament (Intr) Foreign Minister and European Department for Security and Information Secretary General Ambassador Dr Haissam Bou Said exclusively confirms to VT that the Israeli Brigadier Yussi Elon Shahak captured by the Iraqi popular army confessed during the investigation that…

“There is a strong cooperation between MOSSAD and ISIS top military commanders,” asserting that  “there are Israeli advisors helping the Organization on laying out strategic and military plans, and guiding them in the battlefield.”

The terrorist organization also has military consultants from Saudi Arabia, Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Jordan. Saudi Arabia has so far provided ISIS with 30,000 vehicles, while Jordan rendered 4500 vehicles. Qatar and United Arab Emirates delivered funds for covering ISIS overall expenditure.

The planes belonging to the aforesaid countries are still landing in the Mosel airport, carrying military aid and fighters, especially  via the Jordanian borders.

I guess that Shahak might prefer to stay in a Iraqi POW-camp for a good while after the news of his "singing" got published - not everybody can count on a presidential pardon like canary bird McCain, after all.

What if Daesh decided to attack Russia? (very interesting video)

What if Daesh decided to attack Russia? (very interesting video)
1920 Views October 23, 2015 24 Comments

Again, it is thanks to Alena Scarecrow that I can share with you a very interesting video about the biggest military exercise held in contemporary Russia: “Center-2015″.  In the Cold War years such a video would have been classified as “TOP SECRET” and western intelligence agencies would have paid a fortune to get it.  Nowadays, Russia has made a 180 and is showing a surprising degree of openness.

In this video you will see the kind of war Russia is preparing for: basically – a worst case scenario if Daesh supported by regional allies decided make a move into Central Asia or the Caucasus.  Or, if Russia has to move to protect Iran from a major attack.

I have already written about the “armored underbelly of Russia” and what this video shows are some, but not all, of the capabilities this armored underbelly can count on.  The truth is that if Daesh or any other force suddenly decides to tickle the Russian Bear’s putatively “soft underbelly” it will met with an amount of violence it can’t even begin to imagine.  The same goes for any Ukrainian attempt at attacking Russia directly.

A big THANK YOU to Alena for translating and subtitling this video!

Lightning Strikes Twice: US Ally Bombs ANOTHER Doctors Without Borders Hospital

Posted By: NaturalWisdom

Date: Tuesday, 27-Oct-2015 16:23:03

Will they whip out the same reason they used last month to explain the rationale behind this latest airstrike?

US Ally Bombs ANOTHER Doctors Without Borders Hospital

SM Gibson | Activist Post

Oct 27, 2015

A Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) hospital in Yemen was hit by a series of Saudi-led airstrikes on Monday night, the organisation tweeted Tuesday morning.

MSF reported that patients and staff were inside the facility when the bombing took place. At least one person was injured and is in stable condition.

MSF spokesman Hassan Boucenine stated the attacks on the hospital in the Yemeni governorate of Saada “must have been deliberate,” as it was only two weeks ago that the group provided the coordinates for their Saada location to the Saudi-led coalition.

“We give GPS positions, all the positions, of our hospital to the coalition head and we renew them every month,” he said, adding that “the latest one was done two week [sic] ago.”

Boucenine said it is inconceivable that the military didn’t “know it [was] an MSF hospital.” The spokesman went on to add that “There is no reason – ever – to commit a war crime. To target a hospital. There cannot be any good reason.”

The attack comes less than one month after a Doctors Without Borders facility located in Kunduz, northern Afghanistan was attacked by a U.S. military airstrike. At least 30 people were killed.

The airstrikes also mark the one-week anniversary of the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) announcing it approved an $11.25 billion deal to sell combat ships to Saudi Arabia.

Civilian Carnage: The Only Saudi Success in Yemen

According to the UN Human Rights Office, the indiscriminate bombing campaign has killed and wounded thousands of civilians, including many women and children. The spiralling civilian death toll has brought international shock and condemnation, so much so that Washington has been forced to react. In the words of some US officials, “The White House has been increasingly frustrated as it is starting to see the war as de facto support for Saudi war crimes.” Regardless of the tired tropes and doublespeak, they couldn’t be more accurate:

* Following the bloody trail of death and destruction, the US Army shares the blame because it has been refuelling those Saudi warplanes for months. It has also participated in the illegal naval blockade that has brought much of Yemen to the brink of famine. It is wrong to assume that when the White House signed on for the unjustified war, they didn’t anticipate this.

* The US-backed coalition led by Riyadh are foolishly supporting fugitive president Abd Rabu Mansour Hadi against the wishes of Yemeni people. What is striking is that they use US-supplied cluster munition rockets which are banned by international conventions. This makes the US complicit in Saudi crimes. What’s more, there are no real military defined targets either. The regime changers claim they are attacking clearly defined military targets when the evidence is totally to the contrary.

Syrian Army: ISIL Militants Transported From Syria to Yemen

TEHRAN (FNA)- Over 500 ISIL militants have been transported from Syria to Yemen aboard planes arriving from Turkey to fight against Houthi rebels, a Syrian general said Tuesday.

Syrian Armed Forces Spokesman Brig. Gen. Ali Maihub informed that more than 500 ISIL militants had been transported from Syria to Yemen aboard 4 planes that had arrived from Turkey on October 26.

According to him, two of the planes belong to Turkish airlines, one is a Qatari aircraft and one is a UEA plane.

"According to the intelligence data, 4 planes arrived from Turkey at the airport of Aden [in Yemen] on October 26. Two of them [planes] belonged to Turkish airlines, one — to Qatar airlines and another aircraft was owned by an UAE airline. More than 500 militants of ISIL terrorist group were on board, they were transported from Syria to save them from Russian airstrikes," Maihub said.

He further claimed Saudi-led coalition officers met ISIL militants at the airport in Yemen. The Syrian general said that the jihadists were supposed to take part in a ground operation against Houthi rebels.

US Ground Troops In Syria Is "Illegal, Big Mistake", Russia Warns Obama Of "Unpredictable Consequences"

On Tuesday, Defense Secretary Ash Carter told the Senate Armed Services Committee that the US would no longer hesitate to engage in “direct action on the ground” in Iraq and Syria.

Alright, so let’s see if we can untangle this. Washington intends to send in the Apaches to bolster Iraqi forces both Peshmerga and otherwise. Or at least that’s what it sounds like. The Pentagon is also considering the placement of American ground troops with “moderate” rebels and with the YPG in Syria.

As we’ve detailed extensively (and this isn’t exactly a secret), Iran effectively runs the Iraqi military via its various Shiite militia proxy armies. That’s not an exaggeration. As Reuters reported earlier this month, “the Fifth Iraqi Army Division now reports to the militias’ chain of command, not to the military’s, according to several U.S. and coalition military officials.” So when the Apaches and their crews aren’t supporting the Kurds, they’ll be openly supporting Iran-backed fighters.

Ok, fine.

Only that isn’t at all consistent with placing US ground troops with Syria’s “moderate rebels” like the Free Syrian Army because after all, they’re fighting the very same Iran-backed Shiite militias. So the US would be bolstering the militiamen in Iraq with Apache gunship support and then firing on those exact same militiamen across the border in Syria in support of the “moderate” rebels battling to oust the Assad regime.

It’s beyond absurd.

And then of course there’s the whole Kurd/Turkey problem. The US is, i) fighting alongside the Peshmerga in Iraq and intends to support them going forward with Apache helicopters, ii) paradropping guns and ammo to the YPG in Syria (as part of a ridiculous ruse that involves the largely made-up SAC mentioned above by WSJ), and now iii) may even send in ground troops to fight with the YPG. But Turkey just bombed the YPG yesterday.

Additionally, the US is flying sorties from Incirlik which sets up the insanely ridiculous possibility that if the US embeds troops with the Syrian Kurds, US jets could be taking off from the same base as Turkish warplanes only the US warplanes would be supporting the YPG while Turkish warplanes bomb them.

So, yeah. This is should all go swimmingly.

Caught On Tape: ISIS, Meet Russian Mi-24 Attack Helicopter

From the time Russia began flying sorties from Latakia, the world has been transfixed. Watching Moscow fire back up the country’s long dormant military juggernaut has been the story for five weeks running and The Kremlin hasn’t shied away from capitalizing on its newfound military glory.

Near daily videos from the Russian Defense Ministry purport to show Moscow’s warplanes decimating targets in preparation for Hezbollah ground incursions and Russian media are rife with depictions of the air force bearing down on anti-regime fighters.

As we’ve emphasized on a number of occasions, as satisfying as it may be to watch the Russians make a mockery of US foreign policy, one needs to approach Kremlin agitprop with the same degree of skepticism as one employs when assessing the American media.

That said, it’s undeniably entertaining to watch the Russian military engage militants and on that note we say “militants, meet Russian Mi-24 attack helicopter.”

Allahu Akbar”...

The Russian civilian aircraft  crash today while unbelievably tragic could also be a pinnacle moment in the grand scheme of things.

If it has been shot down or there was a bomb onboard then someone wants Russia to have the perfect excuse to get down and dirty with boots on the ground. It's interesting it happened on the 31st, Halloween, again as mentioned before in relation to other events when the veil between the two worlds is very thin, someone might want whatever they are starting to be emboldened with very dark energies form the beyond.

Looking at the 2015 cover of the economist we see 11.5 and 11.3 as perhaps important dates? Well that's this week coming. So it's a tense wait and see moment.

If it is simply a tragic and non-nefarious air flight accident it will come as a relief. However the timing and nature of the events leaves a lot more questions than normally would accompany such an incident with also past but very recent events in mind namely MH17.

It's also interesting to note the response from Egypt and media who seem to already know what happened without the investigation being concluded. There is some serious information management going on that is for sure perhaps more damage limitation on Egypt's part and yet we see ISIS claiming responsibility in the media with that very immediate and suspect appearance of the video I linked to in the shout box.

According to to reports and commentary I have briefly read this plane was flying at an altitude that was out of the range of serious ground to air missile tech, but what about air to air?

ISIS should not have the capability to down a jetliner like this. So again, why are they claiming they did and why did that video appear so fast?

According to DS, it was Vlash faction that shot the Russian aircraft down in retaliation to the Anunnakine faction.

He said "it's been taken care of" and to expect more big blow up to occur in the Vlash faction side.

This is a part of the Alien factions having warfare right now.

However, obviously we can read the case as more of superficial political stuff, and say it was because those Russians were the people whom Russia tried to take care of, the aircraft was shot down by the US-side to give hard time to Russia.

OR someone else plotting something else...

Yes we do live in a complex world unity, and don't know what to believe, just as we were told many years ago. ." We will know our disinformation program is complete, when everything the American public believes is false."  William Casey, CIA director 1981-1987  said at first staff meeting in 1981

Being a conspiracy theorist, I'm looking at this Russian civilian plane crash as highly suspicious, and especially because of one line in an article I read.  First, my sympathies go out to all the passengers, staff and families of both. For all of them, a personal tragedy we can't begin to comprehend.

I have done a lot of flying, this last time, due to flying over land in Africa, the thought of possibly being on a plane going down, certainly did occur to me.  However, being 40,000 feet in the air, at the time, does have a tendency to also bring to mind, that there is not one thing you could do about it,  and makes you discard those thoughts quickly.

We all know that Netty/Obama do not see eye to eye on much.  (or so it seems)  yet we continue to send them 3 billion plus in aid every year

ISIS is attributed to US as in our creation, our training, our supplies.

Obama wants Assad replaced, just like he did Ghadafi, etc.

Putin/Russia is bombing the hell out of ISIS/Syria  and has Iran's help, Iran is Israel's sworn enemy.

"They"  have been trying their damndest to get a war going,  a world war, for years now, and we all know it.

So now we have a Russian civilian plane down.  Russia is investigating, and of course Israel is offering it's help.

ISIS claims responsibility  and releases a video purporting to be that plane.  Whether it is, I don't know, but my question would be, IF it is, how convenient that they just happened to be filming it.  I would say not a SAM, no tracer, more likely a bomb?

Does Egypt have any problems? This plane went down in Egypt.  Below is a letter written by an Egyptian woman, as a warning.

You do know however, that there is a stockpile of 20,000 SAMS, with the ability to take down civilian planes, unguarded in Lybia, that are and have been disappearing little by little, and by the truckloads.  So into who's hands have they gone?

We also know that Obama is now sending specialized troops into Syria supposedly against ISIS.  Anyone remember Benghazi? Will they be sitting ducks?

This now is the article I read that made me go    hmmmm
ISIS claims responsibility for Russian jet crash: Victims 'found over three-mile radius' after plane with 224 on board crashes in Egypt leaving no survivors - but officials blame 'technical fault'

This is the part that gave me a start.

"Russian president Vladimir Putin has ordered his own team of experts to the crash site to determine the cause of the disaster. He has also declared a day of national mourning. He has already sent five aircraft to Egypt to assist with the investigation. The first of his team is expected to arrive in Cairo later this evening before heading to the crash scene.

The Israeli Defence Forces confirmed they had intelligence assets in the region at the time of the crash. According to a statement: 'Since this morning the IDF assisted with aerial surveillance in the efforts to locate the Russian airplane that lost contact over the Sinai Peninsula.

'The IDF has offered continued assistance to both Russia and Egypt if required."

Anyone remember 9/11? I recall stories about Israeli's being caught filming it from New Jersey, about Odigo, an Israeli co., based in the trade center, who's employees were supposedly told to stay home that day, and about Israeli's in a van in a tunnel in NYC that day.  Larry Silverstein, who managed to manipulate himself into massive additional wealth via insurance payouts from the disaster.

IMO, something smells to high heaven with this whole Russian downed plane situation, and sad to say, there are those out there who consider human lives nothing but cannon fodder, in their schemes to get what they want.  What do we think will happen IF it's discovered ISIS did take it down, or should I say, IF it appears ISIS took it down. Especially IF Russia goes even heavier on the bombing because of it, considering we will now have special ops guys on the ground.

First thing I suggest is alternate routes for commercial airlines to avoid the worry of terrorist acts, no matter which terrorists we might be talking about.  just random thoughts here, that I don't really care for.

Satellite Detected Heat Flash at Time Russian Jetliner Went Down

November 2, 2015

"ST. PETERSBURG, Russia -- Mystery and confusion surrounded the final moments of a Russian jetliner that plummeted suddenly from high altitude to the Egyptian desert, killing all 224 people aboard. The airline Monday ruled out pilot error or a technical fault, but Russian aviation officials dismissed those comments as premature.

CBS News' national security correspondent David Martin reports a U.S. infrared satellite detected a heat flash over the Sinai at the time the Russian plane went down. The data is still being analyzed in an effort to determine what caused the flash. One possibility is a bomb, but an explosion in a fuel tank or engine as the result of a mechanical failure is also possible.

Some aviation experts raised the possibility that abomb on board the Metrojet Airbus A321-200 brought it down, while others cited an incident in 2001 when the aircraft grazed the runway with its tail while landing.

James Clapper, the U.S. director of national intelligence, said that while there is no direct evidence of any terrorist involvement yet, it couldn't be excluded that the plane was brought down by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) extremists in the Sinai Peninsula.

"It's unlikely, but I wouldn't rule it out," he told reporters in Washington.

A local affiliate of the extremist Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) group has claimed it brought down the aircraft, which crashed in the northern Sinai where the Egyptian military and security forces have battled militants for years. Both Egyptian and Russian officials have dismissed that claim as not credible.

Still, the U.S., Germany and Britain all had overflight warnings in place for the Sinai. They advised airlines to avoid flying over the peninsula below 26,000 feet and to avoid the Sharm el-Sheik airport due to extremist violence and, notably, the use of anti-aircraft weapons."

U.S. Brings Dogfighters to Counter Russians Over Syria

November 3, 2015

David Axe

"The Pentagon is sending F-15Cs—supposedly to fight the ISIS war. But the jets only have air-to-air weapons, and ISIS has no planes. Which means the real adversary is Russia.   <<wonderful!!

The U.S. Air Force is deploying to Turkey up to a dozen jet fighters specializing in air-to-air combat—apparently to help protect other U.S. and allied jets from Russia’s own warplanes flying over Syria.

Officially, the deployment of F-15C Eagle twin-engine fighters to Incirlik, Turkey—which the Pentagon announced late last week—is meant to “ensure the safety” of America’s NATO allies, Laura Seal, a Defense Department spokesperson, told The Daily Beast.

That could mean that the single-seat F-15s and the eight air-to-air missiles they routinely carry will help the Turkish air force patrol Turkey’s border with Syria, intercepting Syrian planes and helicopters that periodically stray into Turkish territory.

But more likely, the F-15s will be escorting attack planes and bombers as they strike ISIS militants in close proximity to Syrian regime forces and the Russian warplanes that, since early October, have bombed ISIS and U.S.-backed rebels fighting the Syrian troops.

Seal declined to discuss the deployment in detail, but hinted at its true purpose. “I didn’t say it wasn’t about Russia,” she said.   ,<<<WTH???   What are they thinking??

Russia’s air wing in western Syria is notable for including several Su-30 fighters that are primarily air-to-air fighters. The Su-30s’ arrival in Syria raised eyebrows, as Moscow insists its forces are only fighting ISIS, but ISIS has no aircraft of its own for the Su-30s to engage."
