Strands of magnetically confined plasma can be seen throughout the cosmos.

"A rotating vortex of solar plasma was the topic of a recent press release. Does that phenomenon relate to other energetic vortices? Previous Picture of the Day articles describe many cases of ionized clouds in space that are inexplicable if conventional theories are consulted. How do both incidents relate to one another and to others?

In an Electric Universe, every body in the Solar System, along with every star and galaxy, is charged with electricity and exists within a plasma environment. Spacecraft sent to other planets, as well as satellites orbiting Earth, see aurorae, lightning bolts, tornadoes, and jets of material. Volcanoes on Earth “spit lightning” out of their craters. Dust storms on Mars are fed by gigantic funnels that rise for thousands of meters. Comets, Saturn’s rings, fountains of charged particles erupting from Jupiter’s moon Io, and many other examples of electrical activity are found farther out in our local neighborhood.

When plasma moves through a dusty gas, it ionizes the material, initiating an electric current. More than a century ago, Michael Faraday proved that when electricity flows through any substance a magnetic field will form. One aspect of magnetic fields in plasma is that they will generate “plasma ropes”: the field surrounds plasma, confining it into coherent strands known as Birkeland currents."

An X-2 class solar flare recently missed a direct impact with Earth.

"Heliophysicists classify solar flares according to their brightness in X-ray wavelengths. C-class flares are the smallest on the scale, with X-ray measurements in the 10^-6 watts per square meter range (W/m^2), while X-class flares can exceed 10^-4 W/m^2. Why is that important?

An X-2 solar flare has enough energy to overload satellite circuits and disrupt other forms of communication should its full force be directed at Earth.

Modern astronomers believe that solar flares, or coronal mass ejections (CME), occur when magnetic reconnection events in the Sun’s atmosphere cause a short circuit in magnetic field lines. According to one theory, “magnetic energy” then accelerates the superheated gases into space. Although no one knows what “magnetic reconnection” is, it is the only explanation offered.

The prevailing view is that the Sun accelerates charged particles away from its surface in the same way that sound waves are amplified. Pulsations in the solar photosphere travel along “magneto-acoustic wave-guides,” otherwise known as magnetic flux tubes. It is that kinetic effect that pushes “hot gas” outward."

The sun is not doing anything out of the ordinary.


It has been proofen that the faster you travel the more time slows down. If time slows down for you you would see everything going very fast around you.


In fact time slowing down has nothing to do with speed. IT IS USING ENERGY THAT SLOWS TIME DOWN.

What have we here on earth been doing more and more for the past 150 to 200 years??

Well one of the changes we made in that time is using more and more energy.

If using energy slows time down then we are slowing our/Earths time down which causes us seeing the sun going faster....correct?

The reason why nobody understands me is that no matter how much we slow our time down we always count 24 hours in a day and 365 days in a year. That is because we are a part of the solar system which is our larger "time" of reference.

We are creating imbalance by over consumption of energy.

Today this is described by some as "climate change" or "global warming".

If people would realize this "space and time" view to the problem and that their surroundings are not just their back yards but also time and space they would maybe stop arguing about who or what is to blame and take some actions to regain balance our selves. If we will not do it, nature will, not some aliens. And natures way to achieve balance will not be pleasant for us.

Hope scientists will be able to see this before it is too late. This is easy to fix but only if this is common knowledge.

Huge Stripe On The Sun - Is Earth In Serious Danger?

The Sun's odd behavior has been mentioned on many occasions recently. As we all await the Solar Cycle 24, scientists keep a close eye on the Sun.

Now astronomers have discovered huge dark strip on the surface of the Sun. It is estimated this filament is about 800,000 km in length!

Spectacular filament eruption, waves of ionization and Sun’s polar magnetic field shift for end of August



September 1, 2012


"Spectacular solar filament eruption, thousands of kilometers long, occurred at the Sun’s southeast quadrant. Solar X-Ray flux chart values reached almost M-class flare threshold. Huge filament collapsed after almost a week of activity and it resulted in a large C8.1 flare associated with Type II (estimated speed 515 km/s) and Type IV radio sweeps and CME."

Solar storms can destabilize power grids at midlatitudes

"The Sun is capable of disrupting electrical systems on Earth in a variety of ways, from solar flares and coronal mass ejections to proton storms. Typically, it is only objects far above the Earth's surface, or systems at high altitudes at polar latitudes, that are considered at risk except during the most powerful storms. Notable recent examples include solar activity during March 1989 and October 2003 (the "Halloween Storms"), which knocked out power in Quebec, Canada, and Sweden, respectively. Research by Marshall et al., however, finds that even a moderate event can have destructive effects far from the typical regions of concern.

"MAGNIFICENT ERUPTION: A filament of magnetism curling around the sun's southeastern limb erupted on August 31st, producing a coronal mass ejection (CME), a C8-class solar flare, and one of the most beautiful movies ever recorded by NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory:"


"The explosion hurled a CME away from the sun traveling faster than 500 km/s (1.1 million mph). The cloud, shown here, is not heading directly toward Earth, but it could deliver a glancing blow to our planet's magnetic field on or about September 3rd. This date is preliminary and may be changed in response to more data from coronagraphs on the Solar and Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO)." Stay tuned.

Captured by from NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), the images show in unprecedented detail a very long, whip-like solar filament extending over half a million miles in a long arc above the sun’s surface.

So if they have this sort of detail why don't they publish the circular objects that appeared to join with the sun and charge up or emerge from it like bubbles... why do we only get the oblique distant imagery...Mmmm

Still it just goes to show you a glimpse of what they are NOT showing us... brilliant detail we should be able to make out emblematic detail on foreign bodies in the future  ;)

Link Between Coronal Mass Ejections And The Sun’s Interior Motion

"After forty long years of debates and theories and counter-theories, the community of solar physics scientists has still failed to come to a consensus about what causes the sun’s powerful coronal mass ejections (CMEs). CMEs have profound “space weather” effects on land based power grids and satellites in near-Earth geospace.

An international team of scientists explains the mysterious physical mechanisms behind the origin of CMEs in a study published in Nature Physics. The results, based on computer simulations, expose the intricate connections between CMEs and motions in the sun’s interior. This new data could lead to better forecasting of hazardous space weather conditions.

Clouds of magnetic fields and plasma – a hot gas composed of charged particles – comprise CMEs. The most powerful and fastest of these events explode from the sun at more than a million miles per hour, with an energy release more powerful than the entire worldwide stockpile of nuclear weapons.

“By studying CMEs we learn not only about the drivers of space weather but also about the structure of the atmosphere of the sun and other sun-like stars,” says lead author Ilia Roussev of the Yunnan Astronomical Observatory, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and the Institute for Astronomy at the University of Hawaii at Manoa."

Solar storms 'disrupt satellite navigation systems'

"Parts of northern Britain have witnessed the spectacular Northern Lights this week, triggered by a violent storm raging on the surface of the Sun.

The stream of particles creating these displays can be very disruptive to satellite navigation systems.

Scientists now estimate that systems can lose significant accuracy during the worst solar storms.

Space Weather dishes up Meteors and Solar Flares


"October 21, 2012 – SPACE – Earth is passing through a stream of debris from Halley’s Comet, source of the annual Orionid meteor shower. Forecasters expect ~25 meteors per hour when the shower peaks on Oct. 21st. No matter where you live, the best time to look is during the dark hours before sunrise on Sunday morning. Observers in both hemispheres can see this shower. On Oct. 19th, as Earth was making first contact with the debris stream, NASA’s All-sky Fireball Network recorded 10 Orionid fireballs over the southern USA."



"On Oct. 20th at 1814 UT, Earth-orbiting satellites detected a strong M9-class solar flare. The source was a new sunspot, AR1598, emerging over the sun’s southeastern limb. NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded the extreme ultraviolet flash (image), which sent waves of ionization rippling through Earth’s upper atmosphere. More flares are in the offing. NOAA forecasters estimate a 40% chance of M-flares and a 10% chance of X-flares during the next 24 hours." –Space Weather

Astronomers eye another comet possibly torn by the Sun’s gravity

"October 27, 2012 – SPACE – Amateur astronomers have been keeping a close eye on Comet 168P/Hergenrother since October 1st when it suddenly brightened 500-fold, from 15th to 8th magnitude.

At the time, tthe comet was making its closest approch to the sun (1.4 AU). Some observers speculated that solar heating caused the fragile comet to break apart. Last night, a group of astronomers found evidence to support this idea.

“Using the Faulkes North (F65) telescope,” writes Ernesto Guido et al., “we detected a fragmentation in Comet 168P. Our images, taken on Oct. 26th, reveal the presence of a secondary nucleus, or fragment, about two arcseconds away from the main central condensation of comet 168P.”

This is probably a chunk of rocky ice emerging from the haze of gas and dust that surrounds the main nucleus, still hidden inside. Comets are notoriously fragile, so it’s no surprise that Comet 168P/Hergenrother is breaking apart in this way.

The only question is what happens next? Will the comet spit in two, with two heads and two tails, one tracking the fragment and the other tracking the parent? Or is this the prelude to a more complete disintegration. –Space Weather

CME with very high density expected 12th of November 10:00 am UT

This one will last for about 12 hours. As high as this plasma density is i have not seen in a very long time (the Plasma density scale is adjusted to 70)

"BROKEN QUIET: A weeks-long spell of solar quiet was broken on Nov. 8th (02:34 UT), when new sunspot AR1611 unleashed an M1.7-class flare. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory captured the extreme UV flash:



"Because of the blast site's location on the sun's northeastern limb, Earth was not in the line of fire. It will take about a week for this new active region to turn squarely toward our planet. Stay tuned for updates as the chance of geoeffective flares increases in the days ahead."


"As solar activity picks up on the Earthside of the sun (see "Broken Quiet" below), the farside of the sun is coming alive, too. During the early hours of Nov. 9th, a magnetic filament located behind the sun's southeastern limb erupted, hurling a bright coronal mass ejection (CME) into space:"
