'the' DON!  ;D awesome find, and as Phillip said, probably a key to many things done in the past.

Cant help but think of Japan, 'and the opposite' - soil destabilisation. Could there be a yin and yang bacteria?

Phobos-Grunt, failed mission.Space craft contained both Russian and Chinese equipment and modules.

While it’s now too late to send the ship on its original mission, alternatives, such as visiting Earth’s moon or landing on a near-Earth asteroid, have been put forward by various experts.

On Tuesday, Vitaly Davydov, the deputy head of Russian space agency Roscosmos lent some weight to the possibility of a Moon expedition by saying that “it would be reasonable to focus” on it.

However, today, Phobos-Grunt chief boffin Alexander Zakharov of the Space Research Institute said a near-Earth asteroid mission could be a better option.

“Research of an asteroid is more reminiscent of our initial task than Moon research. [The Martian moon] Phobos itself is more like an asteroid and scientific equipment was made for that purpose," he said.

Yesterday, the ESA got telemetry data from the craft that might have told it why the engines failed to fire to send Phobos-Grunt towards Mars, but it was unable to decode it.

"If we assume that the spacecraft may be reanimated... then we may choose some near-earth asteroid and send the spacecraft there," he said. "However, such mission requires extensive preparations. We would have to calculate the orbit and study energy issues, it would take months."

Re-animated. "the organism and its residue has re-animation properties".

If the Phobos/Grunt mission was infected with the Stuxnet virus, which we now think might be a quantum digital version of the organism, then a mission to our moon may create a splashzone on Luna.

This certainly ties in Bezerk with Chani.

Royal Navy's New Ice-Breaker Deploys To Antarctica

The Royal Navy's new ice patrol ship, HMS Protector, left Portsmouth yesterday for a seven-month deployment surveying and patrolling the frozen continent of Antarctica.

The 5,000-tonne ice-breaking ship completed an intensive period of sea trials and training prior to deploying to the Antarctic Peninsula.

HMS Protector will arrive in Antarctica for the austral summer and will conduct three work periods in the ice.

She will use her multibeam echo sounder and deploy her survey motor boat to provide cutting-edge hydrographic charting and imagery of the Antarctic region for the UK Hydrographic Office which provides 80 per cent of the world's nautical charts.

The ship will also assist with the resupply of British Antarctic Survey stations in the region.

HMS Protector is being leased as an interim replacement for HMS Endurance which suffered flood damage when she was operating in the South Atlantic in 2008.

Protector was commissioned into the Royal Navy in June on the 50th anniversary of the implementation of the Antarctic Treaty and the centenary year of Scott's expedition to the South Pole.

Captain Peter Sparkes, Commanding Officer of HMS Protector, said:

"We are now operationally ready to deploy to the South Atlantic. My ship's company have worked tirelessly in recent months to regenerate [sounds like retrofit to me] the Royal Navy's ice patrol ship capability.

snip

Prior to deployment the ship's upgrade package included the removal and repositioning of the flight deck from the bridge roof to the stern, the installation of a multibeam echo sounder survey system, a complete overhaul of the main engines and gearboxes, the fitment of a comprehensive communications and navigation suite, and the addition of naval markings

British garbage worms survive in space without human help

Extraterrestrial nematode freed from mankind's dominance

By Anna Leach

Posted in Space, 30th November 2011 11:11 GMT  [check that time and the 11's]

A worm family that originated in a rubbish dump in Bristol has successfully returned from a space mission, proving for the first time that worms can survive untended in space.

Studying the effect of space travel on worms has big implications for understanding how humans can survive in space – if and when we have to flee our planet and set up colonies in distant worlds.

Nottingham university researcher Dr Nathaniel Szewczyk has been a part of boffinry teams that have sent worms into space twice before, but this latest mission marks the longest stretch that the microscopic Caenorhabditis elegans worms have survived in space and been recovered. A group of boffins led by Szewczyk sent up the latest batch of space worms with the space shuttle Discovery. The worms have now returned, 12 generations later, records their paper, published today in Interface, a journal of the Royal Society

"if and when we have to flee our planet and set up colonies in distant worlds."

Is this another statement pre-conditioning us for being convinced to leave the Earth for our own safety......Mmmm it has started then...!!!

They must be close..or Ogie is waking up etc....

Argentina has launched a naval campaign to isolate the Falkland Islands that has seen it detain Spanish fishing vessels on suspicion of breaking the country’s “blockade” of the seas around the British territories.

Thanks to bebeboi for this post on the chinese pyramids thread

Alien base found at Chinese Pyramids, article can be found here: http://beforeitsnews.com/story/1292/633/Alien_Base_Found_At_Chinese_Pyramid.html

A team of daring Chinese researchers, digging into the ancient mysteries of the origin of their country, have come to the inescapable conclusion that 12,000 years ago an interstellar, supreme alien race used much of the northern and central Chinese regions as massive Earth bases.  One such base may be the astonishing pyramid structure that sits near the apex of Mount Baigong in the western province of Qinghai, the Xianyang pyramid.  China is the focus of legends, myths and stories of alien visitations and many of them center on the Xianyang pyramid.  Local villagers claim their distant ancestors spoke of sky great ships that navigated the heavens and used the pyramid as a landing, refueling and resupply site.  The hypothesis regarding extra-terrestrials is "understandable and worth looking into, [but] scientific means must be employed to prove whether or not it is true,” Yang Ji, one of the scientists and a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences explained to reporters.  While the scientific exploration team agrees, all indications are that aliens used the giant structure as one of its primary Earth bases.  The anomalous pyramid rises almost 200 feet above the countryside—the surrounding area littered with mystifying pipes, bizarre artifacts and unworldly odds and ends.  China’s state-run Xinhua agency sent a nine man team to investigate the pyramid and report back on their findings.  The team discovered pipes running from the caves and deep into the ground slanting down into the earth…towards what?  The agency tersely says: “The pyramid has three caves with openings shaped like triangles on its façade and is filled with red-hued pipes leading into the mountain and a nearby salt water lake.”  Above the caves are dozens of pipes—all of various diameters—that mysteriously run into the mountainside beneath the towering pyramid. All the pipes match the color of the surrounding rocks, a murky reddish-brown.  Elsewhere, more pipes, many lying shattered are scattered littering the ground in every direction. Some of the pipes follow the bank of a salty lake while others dip into the water and plunge beneath the lake bed.  Although the pipes' purpose is offically classified as unknown, some of the Chinese scientists are leaning towards the idea that the structure truly is the remains of some advanced outpost or starbase.  The pyramid complex stretches out much farther than what is visible and evidence suggests a highly technological network of pressurized pipes supplying water and possibly fuels.  Since the ancient site dates from at least 10,000 BCE—and is perhaps twice as old as that—no humans could have engineered it as no serious human culture existed that long ago.  Qin Jianwen, the head of the publicity department of the Delingha government, says fragments of some of the pipe material were taken for analysis. The pieces were found to be mostly silicon dioxide and calcium oxide, although more than eight percent of the metal could not be identified.  "The large content of silicon dioxide and calcium oxide is a result of long interaction between iron and sandstone, which means the pipes must be very old," Liu Shaolin an engineer who did the analysis explained.  How old? Some are guessing 12,000 years…maybe much, much older.  That such structures exist fits neatly into the unofficial history of China—a history most scholars choose to ignore.  Some historians have called the early Chinese culture an "enigma wrapped in a mystery."  Tales of China's ancient days are crammed with stories about the "sky people" and the "god-men" who came from the stars using the Earth as a base for exploration. Along the way these beings taught some of the primitive peoples they met the basics of technology, engineering, farming, and the complex structure of the universe.

Some of the pipes follow the bank of a salty lake while others dip into the water and plunge beneath the lake bed.

So whats beneath the salthy seabed ?

A methane (hydrats)  deposit ...

The Organism ?? ....

The pyramid complex stretches out much farther than what is visible and evidence suggests a highly technological network of pressurized pipes supplying water and possibly fuels.

I guess freshwater, and indeed fuels of diferent kinds, suppose no oil ..lol.. coz these triangled baby's supposedly worked on crystal energy and 'free cosmic energy' and plasma's ...

Some thing that is worth considdering though, is that salt water is healing. Some solutions of water mixed with salt are cleansing and rebuilding blood. Those solutions are typically caled SOL's or SOLÉ  [which refers to the SUN, .. wink..)

Soluble could have once been  : SOL AU ble ... ?? ...

Maybe AU or gold was extracted from these salt-lakes to make Ormus/Ormé ...

The next thing that is interresting is the amber-golden substance in that first pipe ...

I sure would wanna have that one analised !  8)

Yes, almost certainly. And, at a time when the British Navy is not strong, nor ready for such an operation.

One operating aircraft carrier, which will sit at the mouth of the Thames and act as a floating operations pad.

The Argentinians have also fired a shot across the bow already, with a plan to include the Falklands in their Olympic flag!!

(correction - Maldivas)

Now that Argentina has agreement right down the coast to block shipping and docking, resupply will be a little hard eh?

I said in a related thread that now the Brits have distanced themselves from the European economy, they certainly cant expect any help from Euro countries in such a war. But the Frenchies are already involved in all things BEZERK, so they may yet spring to the rescue.....

Yeah, and Argentina has the support of several other South American nations in its stance against the UK over the 'Falklands'.  Given that the UK has reduced its naval warfare capacity, it makes you wonder how this is going to play out.

Been trying to link that too Kat. But cant find any connections as yet. Unless there was more of 'something' on board the craft that could effect a larger area...

But it seems like an expensive and ellaborate way of getting something to an area. A covert night mission could dump all sorts of things and be gone by first light, un noticed.

The space craft never left LEO, so it wasnt exposed to anything more than any other sattelite up there.... unless something was deposited inside for protection by a third party.

Now that line of thinking might lead somewhere. See who snoops around the supposed area of splashdown to see if this might be the case. Any CHIN, Russian or their allies ships in the area might signify they are retrieving something.

Marine traffic would be a good start for monitoring, especially if it is a deep water exploritory vessel.

Haha, submarines? Bezerk and submarines... is that something we have experienced before? LOL ;)

Great point Tricia!! (face palming at the moment. Obvious way to do it.)

So these rivers..... big enough to fit a sub into?

We covered the rivers and sea passages beneath America from memory. Are we looking at the same in Antarctica?
