"They're Hopping Mad In The US And Saudi Arabia": Russian Strikes In Syria Spark Epic Western Media Propaganda Blitz

We are now two days into Russia’s air campaign against anti-regime forces in Syria and both Moscow and the West are rushing to spin the narrative.

The frantic attempt from both sides to shape public opinion has been truly amazing to behold and the sheer amount of coverage speaks to what we said on Thursday about just how important the conflict really is for the Mid-East balance of power.

For the US, portraying Russian airstrikes as supportive of a murderous regime and as an imminent threat to civilians is key, as it allows Washington to explain away the fact that the US and its allies haven’t coordinated their efforts with Moscow. Take the following from CNN for instance, who reports that Russia has made a “strategic blunder” and that by opening an air campaign, Russia risks raising the spectre of the Soviet-Afghan war in the minds of potential jihadists who will supposedly rush into Syria to join the fight:

There is no ambiguity now about Russia's current tactics in Syria -- they are seeking to take over the airspace in the region and be the agenda-setting force on the ground, several senior administration officials told CNN.

"Yesterday's demarche to the U.S. by Russian officials in Baghdad was clear in its intent," one senior administration official said. "Make sure you don't have anyone around ISIS targets and get out of the air."

And while U.S. officials have no plans to cede Russia any ground, they also said it appears that Russian President Vladimir Putin made a dramatic chess move that the Russians have not thought through -- one official even called it a "strategic blunder."

Doctors Without Borders Hospital in Kunduz Hit by Apparent U.S. Strike

by FAZUL RAHIM , JASON CUMMING and JILLIAN SEDERHOLM

JALALABAD, Afghanistan — Twelve Doctors Without Borders staff along with seven patients, including three children, were killed after an apparent U.S. airstrike hit the international charity's hospital in the Afghan city of Kunduz.

Another 37 others were injured in the strike: 19 staff members, including five in critical condition, and 18 patients and caretakers, according to Jason Cone, the executive director for Doctors Without Borders in the U.S. The organization didn't comment on the identities of the victims, but said all international staffers were alive and accounted for.

Coalition spokesman Col. Brian Tribus confirmed that a U.S. airstrike conducted at around 2:15 a.m. local time on Saturday (5:45 p.m. ET Friday) "may have caused collateral damage to a nearby health facility." The incident was being investigated, he added.

The media's treatment of this US bombing of the Doctors Without Borders hospital is so typical. If it had been Russia, the treatment would be much different. You won't find many headlines that say it was a US /UN airstrike. And then they continue to say that the US is "investigating" even though they've already admitted it, and I've seen an article saying they've "apologized." I haven't, however, seen the outrage (read: propaganda) as seen with Russia's successful airstrikes on ISIS.

I realize that the approach to reporting this terrible slaughter of people in that hospital is also propagandistic. The brilliant part is there are quite many people who also see this - at least from what I can tell from reading twitter comments.

Syria Ground War Imminent? U.S. Accuses Russia Of Launching Syrian Land Campaign

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/05/2015 17:14 -0400

While the US was been surprised and angered by the stunningly fast turn of events in Syria where in the span of less than a month Russia unleashed a massive, Syria-based airborne campaign against what it says are ISIS terrorists, even as the US accuses Putin of targeting "moderate rebels",
(Added by me:For Russia, the definition of a terrorist is simple.

"If it looks like a terrorist, if it acts like a terrorist, if it walks like a terrorist, if it fights like a terrorist, it’s a terrorist," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told reporters during a UN briefing.)

it has had little recourse in accusing Putin of violating Syrian sovereignty: after all Russia is the only nation that Syria has officially invited to eradicate the "terrorist threat" that is ISIS.

Then, last Friday, Syria raised the stakes once again, when as Bloomberg reported a loyalist of the Assad regime said "terrorism cannot only be fought from the air," making an appeal for more military involvement to defeat Islamic State.

In a defiant speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, Syrian Foreign Minister Walid al-Muallem criticized the current approach to fighting the group that has conquered swathes of territory and was encroaching on President Bashar al-Assad’s coastal stronghold in Latakia. Those gains triggered Russian intervention.

“Air strikes are useless unless they are coordinated with the Syrian Arab army, the only force to combat terrorism,” al-Muallem, who also holds the title of deputy prime minister, told a largely empty assembly hall on Friday, the last day of speeches.

The logical implication is that Syria will next invite, if it hasn't already done so, Russian troops to join the Russian airforce in eradicating the great ISIS strawman which until recently was the pretext for "coalition" forces to bombard Syria with complete disregard for Syrian sovereignty, and the intention of destroying Assad's military so the CIA can conclude a regime change with a pro-western leader, one which will permit the passage of a Qatar gas pipeline.

Whether or not this assessment is accurate is irrelevant, because earlier today the US decided to jump right on it, and as CNN reported, accordint to the latest U.S. assessment of Moscow's activity in western Syria, "Russia has moved several ground combat weapons and troops into the area to potentially back up Syrian forces in the field planning to attack anti-regime forces, according to two U.S. defense officials."

snip

What happens then? Well, with the previously discussed Russian naval campaign of Syria as a likely next step, and with both US and Russian warplanes already flying back and forth above Syria, and now both superpowers having a legitimate, if only in the eyes of their own media, justification to dispatch land troops, what was until now a mere proxy war is about to become full blown land combat on Syrian soil, one which will soon involve both Russian and US ground, sea and airborne forces.

The last missing step will be when US cruisers, destroyers and/or battleships park next to the Syrian coastline, within earshot (and every other "shot") away from comparable Russian warships. Keep tabs on the weekly US naval update, because once several US warships weigh anchor in the vicinity of Syria that will be the catalyst for the next and final escalation.

At that point, the world will be one false flag away from what some could call another world war, only this time one launched not in Serbia but Syria.

Turkey warns U.S., Russia against backing Kurdish militia in Syria

Turkey has warned the United States and Russia it will not tolerate Kurdish territorial gains by Kurdish militia close to its frontiers in north-western Syria, two senior officials said.

"This is clear cut for us and there is no joking about it," one official said of the possibility of Syrian Kurdish militia crossing the Euphrates to extend control along Turkish borders from Iraq's Kurdistan region towards the Mediterranean coast.

Turkey fears advances by Kurdish YPG militia, backed by its PYD political wing, on the Syrian side of its 900 km (560-mile) border will fuel separatist ambitions among Kurds in its own southeastern territories. But Washington has supported YPG fighters as an effective force in combating Islamic State.

"The PYD has been getting closer with both the United States and Russia of late. We view the PYD as a terrorist group and we want all countries to consider the consequences of their cooperation," one of the Turkish officials said.

Putin’s Wild Card in Syria

By Preston James, Ph.D on October 14, 2015

When Putin decided to assist Syria against continuing attacks by ISIS, a bold checkmate was quickly obtained against a 1300 year old Blood Feud revenge that the *RKM has been waging against the non-Khazarian Russian People. There appears to be much more to this story behind Putin's bold confidence and assertive defense of his long term ally Syria who ask the Russian Federation for help in defending itself against the ongoing assaults by the RKM's ISIS.

by   Preston James

Note:  Even though some of the Veterans Today Directors may have Beyond-black Secret Space War clearances, none of the Secret Space War material in this article was sourced by them or through them and comes from independent outside sources. If you are not up to speed on Secret Space War matters you are probably wasting your time reading this article. The best readily available good source of background information on most Secret Space War matters and the massive secrecy surrounding them is the highly respected researcher and notably popular author Richard Dolan. One who has read his books, especially his latest one and has watched his www.youtube.com presentations will have obtained a pretty good background on these most highly classified matters. This is a long article and those who want a quick summary can read the caps and get a pretty good overview.

In one of the most unexpected turn of events in recent history, Putin and the Russian Federation, at the request of his ally Syria, moved Russian aircraft into Syria and deployed high tech cruise missiles from a thousand miles away to rapidly decimate over 40% of ISIS.

This bold, unexpected defense of his long term ally, Syria, with a checkmate against ISIS is really a checkmate against the whole RKM and has sent shock-waves around the world and left the Pentagon in complete disarray. It has also left the Likudists, Netanyahu and their stateside Cutouts shocked and dismayed and so angry they are now coming unglued.

It is likely that this unexpected checkmate of the RKM is going to lead to the RKM’s disempowerment, failure of its “Greater Israel Plan” to occupy the whole Mideast and then the whole world, including the use of NATO to surround Russia and Balkanize it.

I suspect that this link would connect up possibly this one, Bezerk, Chinese Briefcase, Black Goo and SIRI Experiment threads...eyes rolling.

It's been known that both Russia and China were hotly active there, as well as in Antarctic region.

For this thread, it's about energy & resources I suppose, but like I wrote before, there could be involving heaps more into the picture...

Caught On Tape: Inside Iran's Secret Underground Missile Tunnels

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 10/18/2015

On Monday, in “Iran Openly Flouts Obama, Launches New Ballistic Missile,” we highlighted the The Emad, Tehran's first precision-guided, ballistic missile with the capability and range to hit Israel. The weapon is a liquid-propelled rocket with a range of 1,056 miles, is apparently accurate to within about 1,600 feet, and can carry a 1,653-pound payload.

Iran test-fired the Emad last weekend. Here’s footage of the launch:

And here’s an excerpt from our analysis putting it in context given recent events:

One of the truly interesting things about Iran’s stepped up involvement in Syria (be it through Tehran’s various Shiite militias, the Quds, or most visibly, via Hezbollah) is that it demonstrates an outright disregard for the nuclear deal.

That’s certainly not an attempt to scold Iran. In fact, it’s never been entirely clear why Washington gets to play world nuclear police with Tehran when history has definitively proven that if there’s any country that can’t be trusted with nuclear bombs, it’s the US.

That said, the Ayatollah’s ravings leave something to be desired when it comes to diplomacy and if you’re going to threaten to wipe entire countries off the map you shouldn’t necessarily be surprised when those other countries try to prevent you from obtaining a nuclear weapon.

Well the ink on the deal is barely dry and not only has Iran i) effectively invaded Syria, and ii) flouted inspectors at Parchin, they’ve now test-fired a long-range surface-to-surface ballistic missile.

Pure hasbara that shines a dubious light on zerohegde!

1) Iran NEVER threatened to wipe out the entity that illegally occupies Palestine. It's been proven many times and quite a few years ago already, that the Iran-wants-to-destroy-israel-spin is based on a deliberate faulty translation of one of Ahmedinejads speeches.

2) The nuclear deal has ABSOLUTELY nothing to do with ICBMs carrying conventional explosives.

3) Iran has invaded Syria as little as the Russian Federation has...they are both allies of Syria and were asked by the Syrian government to help them. The RF from the air, Iran on the ground.

1. Iran's supreme leader Ayatollah Khamenei outlines plan to 'eliminate' Israel

A tweet posted on Khamenei 's official Twitter account proposed a referendum for 'all the original people of Palestine'

B1_LKrrIcAAMAZB.png

he did say 'eliminate' ...  that is just how he explains it away IMO

2.  They produce ICBMs,  test it means they are ready to use it and if they have nuke capability (they most likely do have) they will put a little bit in that ICBM if and when the time comes, agreement or no agreement.

3.  i) effectively invaded Syria.  Effectively = in an indirect way(Merriam-Webster.com.)

"Der Casus macht mich lachen" Goethe, "Faust - der Tragödie erster Teil"

So, I ask you to read Khamenei's answer to question Nr. 3 (from your post).

Eliminating the illegal zionist occupation with a referendum amongst the ORIGINAL population of Palestine sounds like a perfect and peaceful plan to me. No ICBMs or any other kind of military intervention mentioned here...combining the two reeks like the fear-sweat of a panicking hasbara troll...

The Merriam-Webster won't help you much in that particular case: Deploying troops to a foreign country at the request of it's legitimate government can not be considered an invasion, whether direct or indirect.

So I am not the only one that feels like shit these last few days - the energy is getting really hard to tolerate. Nemesis has been around RMN a long time so was surprised to see his last post put up today.

CONSIDER THIS MY FINAL MESSAGE, a final warning, if you will

Posted By: Nemesis [send E-Mail]

Date: Tuesday, 20-Oct-2015 02:01:43

AND NO, I'M NOT BUNKERING UP, so to speak, just enjoying the time left.

These times have been indeed prophesied, yet GREATLY misunderstood (the cycles of life are recurring events and speaking of them ahead of time just seems like prophecy).

The cleansing that is at our door steps is as necessary for the evolution of the human species as it was for the human species to be born.

The destruction you will witness and experience is beyond imagination, for though you have seen the like, you have not experienced it yourself, and THAT is about to change.

WORLD WAR III is coming to America, and there is no alien force that will prevent “nukes” or the like from doing their work, NOR OF THE SOCIAL IMPACT.

In a way, I suppose, there is little value in stating the above or giving details, for whether you know or not, what is coming cannot REALLY be prepared for, though certainly, for a time, the affects might be mitigated, but the over-all picture is going to be quite unlike any movie you’ve watched.

So why am I writing this?

Maybe just because people want to know what’s coming that will take away their peace and comforts, for HEADLINES of future events are certainly of great interest and well read. I don’t know why I’m writing this. As I’m writing this I’m thinking not to post it. Maybe I’m just writing for myself.

Everyone wants to live a little longer, so maybe that’s it. Get some extra food, supplies etc., get out of the city if you want a better chance at living longer, apply some common survival sense to your living plans. They might not help you live (they might) but they will certainly make troubled times less troubling for awhile.

SHORTLY, there REALLY WILL come a time when WHERE YOU ARE IS WHERE YOU STAY, and the economics when that happens will NOT HELP YOU. It REALLY WILL BE TOO LATE.

I’ve written about this stuff for 25 years, 15 years on rumormillnews. The signs of impending disaster were available in the 80's, and have just been slowly multiplying. MOST CHANGE happens SUDDENLY, but the footprints were in the sand for a very long time in coming. The SUDDENNESS WILL BE AS A THIEF IN THE NIGHT.

I’ve aimed and prepared my family for what is to come, not so much to survive, for who knows that, but rather, that they might avoid the sting of the collapse of all structures and the ensuing problems in a much better way. Whether we survive or not matter not at all.

Do not email me for details. I really could care less what they are. Just know, that whatever happens will have value, and whether you believe that or not will determine much in how you handle yourself during the coming days. nem.

Jessica et all,

one cannot carry the avatar Nemesis and be defeatist, that is oxymorous.

although he is correct concerning the indicators and current timming he is incorrect in outcome and methodology

whether et, it, human or not,

whether concern for humanity or complete disregard or even animocity towards

the planet itself is far too valuable to be afforded complete inihilation especialy by a child like species that is collective humanity

dont get me wrong, a challenging crossroad is here and now but as history repeatedly proves, humanity shines brightest in the face of adversity

time to separate humanity from detriment

fasten your seat belts its going to be turbulent

Glowing concern over how politically all the decisions are made at UNESCO, in Japan, there seems to be the direction emerging in the nation...and comes a prophecy....

That of dismantling of the United Nations being on the card in future.

The US is currently happy shaking hands with Japan providing Japan continues to pay for them in many ways, as well as to take some responsibility (finally!) in the difficult (to be made so on surface, as you all know) geopolitics in the region.

Both countries pay heck a lot of $s to run the UN.

For UNESCO, apparently it's only because Japanese officials got rid of the dodgy African operator, then the US came back but basically the US doesn't give a fart about UNESCO, and refused to pay $s towards it.

Japan has been paying 11% of the entire cost of UNESCO, so their card now is to get out of UNESCO altogether, taking the US together with them, start creating a separate entity just like how the UN is supposed to operate, bring in other countries into the community. (I have no idea how it can be fairer than the current UN can be but anyway...)

US naval excecs inspect China carrier amid tensions

Operation name: freedom-of-navigation

According to the US military intel info, they are deciding which ship to take.

Basically the Nuke ship Ronald Reagan is sitting in Japan so if necessary, it can be dragged into the SE Asian water.

But because it's also a sitting duck on the sea to be bombarded at, it means the US would be bringing possibly WAR SHIPS and SUBs.

.........That's just sounding like the start of a war, but according to this US officer, they are careful not to start it, but want to make sure to make their point, saying it's possible to bring in a nuke sub and poke it out of water, just to tell Chinese military, "...See, we are here...stop the stupid expansion NOW."

China and the US are talking about the situation right now, in order to choose whether the US to bring only a business tanker to go through the region without China to fire at it, just to prove the freedom of navigation in the international water.

It's up to what China would reply to the security question, if they would fire at a business ship or not.

Still, this is close shave stuff IMHO....

(But wait, if it was 40~50 years ago, I suspect the US would have already bombed those main 7 Chinese-built islands to pieces thus no more issue. LOL)

Honestly, delays in President Obama's decisions to move fast enough for everything re:international conflicts, are making situation just worse and worse by the look of it.

But then again, if he was programmed to cause the mess on Earth, he's done good job of it....

Now despite the fact of receiving Nobel Peace Prize, he had to move to make a point, because Mr. Xiu just wouldn't give the words Mr. Obama wants to hear, when Mr. Xiu visited the US when the Pope was there at the same time.

The latest Possible Assassination Hit List of World Leaders:

According to the US intel line, these are the peeps they know at risk...(as on 15/10/15)

1) Ms. Park Kune---South Korean President

2) Mr. Xiu---Head of Chinese Communist Party

3) Kim JongUn---Head of North Korea

This is the list apparently made out of ALL countries on Earth being compared for the risk...

Geez all of them are geologically focused in Northern Asia...(´Д`)

Iran to Resume Building of Enrichment Plants If West Violates Nuclear Deal

Tehran will begin constructing uranium enrichment plants if the West fails in its commitment to the P5+1 nuclear agreement, parliament speaker Ali Larijani said Tuesday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – According to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, the Iranian Parliament is proposing a bill that would allow the country to resume construction of enrichment activities if the West violates the agreement on the country’s nuclear program.

"If the West does not follow its promises or delays the implementation of provisions of the nuclear agreement, we shall start constructing uranium enrichment plants," Larijani said in a speech, as quoted by Tasnim News Agency.

A "tough challenge" awaits Iran's Western partners, according to Larijani. The West must lift the sanctions as stipulated by the nuclear deal, or the "Iranian response will be severe."

Iran and the P5+1 group of countries, comprised of the United States, Russia, China, France and the United Kingdom plus Germany, reached a comprehensive agreement on July 14 to ensure the peaceful nature of Tehran's nuclear program in exchange for sanctions relief.

Under the deal, Tehran has agreed to maintain the level of its uranium enrichment under 3.67 percent for a period of 15 years and keep its uranium stockpile under 300 kilograms (some 661 pounds). All enriched uranium above the amount stipulated by the agreement must be removed from Iran.

The US may retaliate China shortly

No point of being alarmist, but Chinese hackers have been attacking 7 major American companies, and this is after Xiu-Obama meeting, which Obama asked Xiu to stop the cyber attacks---obviously no one is listening to him in China.

China is refusing to listen to Japan to stop developing the oil rig right next to Japanese EEZ, and this is happening even though a legislation was introduced between the 2 countries to shake hands to develop it together....

So more and more, actual US warships may arrive at SE Asian water soon...we will see...

(Need to translate) http://headlines.yahoo.co.jp/hl?a=20151022-00000008-ykf-int&pos=3

It was very interesting to hear about what a Chinese-born person thinks about the picture emerging now (www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrSXEsgvbB4)---His name is "Seki Hei", that's Japanese version of his name but he has naturalised himself to be a Japanese citizen, as he lost all his family in Tienanmen Crisis, and he fought for the rights of Chinese people there...he can't go back to China, because he would be killed if he does.

Mr. Seki spoken about what China is thinking now.

Though Mr. Xiu got treated badly in the US, now attended UK dinner with the Queen.

Apparently, Chinese peeps would think that now all the fuss they had with England in the Opium War has melted all and THEY FEEL THEY WON. (Like they got treated really badly by the US, being looked down, but by the UK showing the respect to China now, by the Queen showing up to meet Mr. Xiu, China feels that they won the battle and regained all that was trashed under the UK.)

(。´・ω・)?...don't ask me why.

That's how their national attitude FEELS about the whole situation, apparently.

I'm not Chinese so I can only listen to this Chinese man, who is very knowledgeable and wise, now naturalised to Japan.

Edit to add:

Anyway, then, China would form a strong tie with the UK from now on by the look of it but I doubt it's not so concretely happy all around.

The UK is wagging its tail to China is what we can see on the latest MSM stories about the meeting, but I was having trouble of figuring it out from Alien faction perspective.

I plainly had the picture in my head to start with, as below:

Anunnakine faction strong hold=the UK

Vlash faction strong hold=China

Couldn't figure out why Anunnakine and Vlash would be shaking hands so happily. They are in the war right now.

Then came the creative imagination worked:

Very roughly, but maybe the Anunnakine faction needs money, eager to use any opportunity due to the fact that their reign is shaken around right now.

On Mr. Xiu's side, he's in a real dodgy place and maybe having trouble sleeping well at night because he's under the REAL threat of being assassinated. If he wants to preserve his own life (as well as his family members) to be assured by BUYING the tie to get security guarded by the Anunnakine faction, then the shake hands story actualizes.

The thing is that China is a Vlash strong hold, according to DS.

It's Vlash faction that has ultimate power to decide to kill Mr. Xiu to get rid of his influence/power, to make it easier for the control of the country, then they would in ANY MOMENT.

But luckily Mr. Xiu still has a role to play for the picture of what China is to the international community, so his life is just hanging.

IF this is correct, then no wonder why Mr. Xiu would try to allocate huge money from China while he can, probably ASAP....thus what he did in the UK during this visit.

The money doesn't belong to him and his family, but belongs to the Chinese Communist Party, and he can freely pay using someone else's money....

And he definitely assured a lot of money this time...(only if that's in a real value...LOL)

If he could use the Anunnakine faction's power to protect himself and his family, he must feel loads happier right now.
