carrier group Kuznetsov has arrived in the Med.

rumors of docking in syrian ports

i personally miss the cold war for 1 reason, that being a seeming surface balance of power which is what we see in the Med today

just because some members got weak at the knees does not mean that Odessa is dead in the water C

having said that, i fear that latest developments are in line with the planned setup towards the genocidal ww3 i.e. a half harted attack on the RIC (russian, islamic states, china) by the axis of allies (us, eu, japan etc) resulting in a full blown counter attack (incl nuclear) by RIC culminating in the march and occupation of 200mil chinese towards europe (further invoking eastern originating scriptures thus rallying the weak minded)

the above will not be allowed to come to pass, i have full faith in humanity (not soulless drone fodder) and its astral allies

Truth will Prevail

can't specify details, but rest assured final asset positioning is almost complete,.

the plan within the ia known plan is in full operation with all operatives briefed, prepped and positioned on land above and below

china is not playing dice any longer and have shown fangs

"While American troops will be stationed in Israel for an unspecified amount of time, Israeli military personnel will be added to EUCOM in Germany. EUCOM stands for United States European Command.

In preparation for anticipated Iranian missile attacks upon Israel, the US is reportedly bringing its THAAD, Terminal High Altitude Area Defense, and ship-based Aegis ballistic missile systems to Israel. The US forces will join Israeli missile defense systems like the Patriot and Arrow. The deployment comes with “the ultimate goal of establishing joint task forces in the event of a large-scale conflict in the Middle East”."

"Keeping tabs on Putin’s spooks

by Mark Galeotti at 26/12/2011 20:46

The past year has seen Russian spies or alleged spies in the news around the world.

America’s National Counterintelligence Executive warned of a rising cyber-espionage threat from Moscow. Britain’s MI5 accused a 26-year old Russian woman, Katia Zatuliveter as a “honeytrap” agent, after she had affairs with a 65-yearold parliamentarian and a NATO official in his fifties. She was later cleared in court.

In Germany, two Russians stand accused of stealing industrial secrets. More gorily, the Turkish government claims a Russian agent murdered three Chechens in Istanbul to stop them raising funds for anti-Russian insurgents.

It would be easy to write off Western concerns as an anachronistic relic of the Cold War, but they are genuine. Of course, the West also spies on Russia, but across the board they are reporting a pattern of not just sustained but actually increasing Russian espionage, which is now as extensive and as aggressive as at the height of the Cold War.

Are things going to get any better in a renewed Putin presidency? Almost certainly not. A KGB veteran, former FSB director, he makes no bones that he regards the siloviki, the ‘men of force’ of the security and intelligence community, as key allies and instruments of his regime. Indeed, he seems to see them as the answer to almost every challenge.

They have done very well out of his patronage, being granted considerable leeway and buoyant budgets, even at the height of the financial slowdown. The spooks have also been free to supplement comfortable salaries with legal perks and illegal schemes, virtually with impunity. Take a look at the rows of imported luxury cars parked outside their various headquarters, and you see siloviki consumerism at play.

Most of them are celebrating Putin’s presumed return to the presidency in March. However, there is reason to believe that life for them is going to get a little harder. After all, as one of them, Putin also has a good sense of their scams and – unlike Medvedev – has real authority over them. There is little reason to believe that he has a serious problem with their corruption as such – but he expects them to deliver in return.

The GRU military intelligence service is already being punished for failing in its primary missions. It is doing a mediocre job stealing foreign military technology, played a minor role in the 2008 Georgian war and did not predict the violence in Kyrgyzstan two years ago and the crackdown in western Kazakhstan this month, although it has lead responsibility for monitoring Central Asia. Now it is being downsized and demoted as a warning to the rest.

Likewise, every time another Russian spy is unmasked, the Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) fears for its independence as the much larger FSB – an internal security agency that now also conducts missions against “domestic threats” abroad – openly wants to take it over.

To date, Putin has stayed his hand: he wants the SVR to stay worried and the FSB hungry. So, because neither wants to look like it isn’t a team player, both are now sharing intelligence in a way they never have before.

In other words, Putin wants his spooks leaner and meaner. Expect more shake-ups within the siloviki world in the coming months, but only in the name of getting them to do their job better. From cyberespionage and economic intelligence gathering through to old-fashioned human penetration, we can expect a continued upsurge in Russian espionage. "

Iran to hold new naval drill in the Strait of Hormuz in February

http://www.washingtonpost.com/world/middle-east/report-iran-to-hold-new-naval-drill-in-the-strait-of-hormuz-in-february/2012/01/06/gIQAYSjCeP_story.html

TEHRAN, Iran — Iran’s Revolutionary Guards will hold new naval exercises in the strategic Strait of Hormuz in February, the semiofficial Fars news agency reported.

The late Thursday announcement comes only two days after Iran’s navy wrapped up another set of war games near the strait, the passageway for about a third of the world’s oil tanker traffic.

Source:  http://www.kippreport.com/2012/01/top-10-buyers-of-irans-oil/

OPEC’s second largest producer  Iran sells large volumes of oil to China, India, South Korea, Japan and Italy. But Turkey, South Africa and Sri Lanka rely most heavily on Iranian oil as a percentage of imports.

U.S. sanctions already forbid imports of Iranian oil. France is pressing the European Union to consider a ban on Iranian oil to discourage Tehran’s nuclear programme.

Iran produces about 3.5 million barrels a day of crude with another 500,000 bpd of condensate, exporting about 2.6 million bpd of which 50,000 bpd is refined products, the International

Energy Agency estimates.

The top ten buyers of Iranian crude are as follows. Data is for the second quarter 2011 from the IEA with the exception of China, India and Sri Lanka which are not IEA members. Data for

those countries is for first half 2011 from the U.S. Energy Information Administration.

Country          Imports k/bpd    Percent Imports

1. China        543,000          10

2. India        341,000          11

3. Japan        251,000          5.9

4. Italy        249,000          13.3

5. South Korea  239,000          7.4

6. Turkey        217,000          30.6

7. Spain        149,000          9.6

8. Greece        111,000          34.7

9. South Africa  98,000          25

10.France        78,000          4.4

In addition Sri Lanka imported 39,000 bpd in the first half of the year. It is completely reliant on  Iranian oil.

------

My comment:

Just like China got out of the way for the western take-down of Libya, I predict China will get out of the way if they go for Iran.  Word has it that China is already pulling out of its infrastructure developments in Iran, and is replacing the Iranian oil supply with oil coming from the north, ie Russia.  I guess time will tell.

CHINESE SLBM TEST?

Internet reports indicate that China's military may have conducted a secret flight test of the JL-2 submarine-launched ballistic missile, one of at least three new long-range Chinese strategic missiles.

Richard Fisher, a China military-affairs specialist, told Inside the Ring that online military bulletin boards in China were lit over the New Year’s period with reports that China conducted six JL-2 launches from waters near the major northern military port of Dalian, where China has at least two ballistic-missile submarines at the Northern Fleet base at Xiaopingdao.

“I can’t confirm these reports, but they are plausible, especially if you assume that two submarines were used: two Type 094 SSBNs or one Type 094 and one test submarine, either the single Golf-class non-nuclear-powered SLBM test sub, or its possible replacement launched in September 2010,” Mr. Fisher said.

Another scenario is that a single missile submarine fired all six of the JL-2s because each submarine can be outfitted with 12 of the missiles, a variant of the DF-31 land-mobile ICBM.

On the reported multiple launches, Mr. Fisher said China's military “would clearly want to demonstrate that, after years of protracted development, they can launch submarine-based ballistic missiles at a near wartime frequency.”

“If these reports are true, then the 094 submarine is ready for the PLA version of deterrence patrols, which could commence this year,” he said, referring to China’s People’s Liberation Army.

“This number of successful tests would also indicate that the PLA has, at long last, resolved whatever issues were preventing this missile from achieving ‘operational’ status.”

Capt. John Kirby, a Pentagon spokesman, said: “We have been monitoring JL-2 developments for some years. It has had challenges — resulting in delays in completing the system.”

Capt. Kirby said the Pentagon’s annual report on China's military noted that China needs to conduct additional tests for the new JL-2, but “once complete and deployed, the JL-2/Jin combo would constitute China’s first real sea-based deterrent.” The Jin-class submarine is also known as the Type 094 missile submarine.

Roger Cliff, a China military specialist with the Project 2049 Institute, wrote in Defense News recently that China is likely to conduct a major military test on Wednesday, perhaps its new DF-21D anti-ship ballistic missile. That day is the “one-one-one” anniversary of a Chinese anti-satellite missile tests in 2007 and the first flight of a J-20 stealth jet last year.

Some type of saber-rattling test also would be timed to upcoming presidential and parliamentary elections in Taiwan, a key target of the Chinese military, which conducted missile tests north and south of the island in 1996 in an attempt to intimidate voters prior to an election that year.

i know its debka, but her it is anyway

Tehran media trumpeted the news Sunday, Jan. 8 that Iran's deep underground uranium enrichment site at Fordo near Qom goes stream soon, thereby crossing another line in its faceoff with the West on its weapons program. The head of Iran's Atomic Energy Organization Fereydoun Abbasi Davani told the Kayhan daily: ... 20 percent, 3.5 percent and four percent enriched uranium can be produced at this site." debkafile's military sources report that 60 percent is equally feasible, just one step before weapons grade.

Israel's Defense Minister Ehud Barak warned in a number of  interviews to US media that once the Fordo plant becomes operational, Iran's nuclear bomb program will become immune to military attack and be able to operate out of the sight of Israeli and Western surveillance.

The Iranian navy is staging a large scale exercise at the Straits of Hormuz in February (a strategic choke point into the Persian Gulf) called "The Great Prophet"

Of course, the deployment of HMS DARING is completely coincidental...

Cyprus releases Russian Syria-bound 'ammunition' ship

A Russian-owned ship reportedly carrying ammunition to Syria was allowed to leave Cyprus after giving assurances it would switch course, the island nation’s officials said on Wednesday.

The cargo ship, flying the St. Vincent and Grenadines flag, was en route from St. Petersburg to the Syrian port of Latakia when it was forced to dock at a Cypriot port for refueling on Tuesday following bad weather.

“It has been decided the vessel will be released after the ship decided to change its destination and will not go to Syria,” Cypriot government spokesman Stefanos Stefanou said.

The company managing the ship, St. Petersburg-based Westberg Ltd, said that Cypriot authorities had not actually held the ship.

"The ship ran out of fuel, so it docked at a port. The Cypriot authorities did not hold it. They came on board and checked documents, it took about an hour. They got the documents and released the ship. There were no delays,” a company spokesman said.

True or Not?  from John Kettler

ETs/EDs To Israel’s NWO Boomer–”Retreat Or Die!”

http://johnkettler.com/etseds-warn-nwo-boomer.html/

ETs/EDs Have Had It–Israel Retreats Sub Or It Dies; Crew’s Fate Still Undecided

ETs/EDs have had it with Benjamin Netanyahu and his war party’s headlong rush, with the U.S. included, to confrontation with an Iran firmly backed by Russia. The ex-French boomer (nuclear powered ballistic missile submarine) survived a battering while rounding the Cape of Good Hope submerged, but one crewman suffered a cracked skull, forcing a medevac rendezvous with an Israeli corvette off Somalia. The ETs/EDs observed the corvette being attacked by Somali pirates, who turned tail when up popped the boomer between them and their quarry! Terrestrial sources tell the same story. If Israel doesn’t order that sub to turn around, that sailor may become the sole survivor of a singularly stupid mission.

ETs/EDs Demand NWO Boomer Return Home & Be Decomissioned Or Be Sunk!

ETs/EDs have reached a firm decision. Since they have “no need” for what they characterize as “a seagoing fossil,” they will not “disappear” the whole boat. Rather, they will crush the hull and beam out the missiles and reactor compartment, not wanting to contaminate the ocean further or leave nuclear weapons down there for someone to retrieve. The ETs/EDs haven’t decided yet whether to save the crew and send it off for reeducation or simply let it suffer the dread fate of a sinking sub. The ETs/EDs WILL destroy the boomer well before it reaches firing range, so Israel has little time left to avert its worst naval disaster ever.

ETs/EDs Reinforce Super Assault Transport Warning

ETs/EDs strongly remind Israel of their earlier warning about moving those gigantic assault transports converted from supertankers.  ”They will either be sunk or dropped somewhere awkward in Israel. Think the Ark on Mount Ararat, but without a soft landing!” Rest assured, the ETs/EDs are NOT kidding.
