Politician or Leader?

Posted By: Lion [send E-Mail]

---------------

Politician or Leader?

Since it has been ingrained in the psyche of the planets population that individuals cannot lead themselves, and must therefore look to another - supposedly more qualified than their self - for life decisions and interacting social behavior examples, the door is always left open for deception and chicanery from the appointed 'ruling class'.

Out of the 'incapable of self-discipline' indoctrination of the masses over several centuries, emerges one of the most vile creatures in existence - the politician.

The politician is perfected evidence, a perfect by-product to fill the conditioned 'leadership void', in the minds of brainwashed individuals who now consider themselves incapable of leadership, or self-discipline.

The problem is that a politician serves only himself at the expense of everyone in their circle of influence.

Hence, most politicians are self-aggrandizing fools, or psychopaths/sociopaths who are absolutely useless to individuals who look to the politician for answers - because the politician has no answers.

Although positive attributes of of a well rounded leader contain both elements leadership, and elements of politics and negotiation when necessary, the true leader is primarily concerned with an obligation of service to others in their sphere of influence.

The politician understands and acts only within the political arena, and operates only for the purpose maintaining power, position, or legacy in the best interest of self - or the best interests of the politician.

The leader makes decisions based on what is in the best interests of those who consider the leader a leader, or those who follow the leader.

The leader earns their stripes to become a leader, by choosing to act as a leader first.

The self-serving politician may demand leadership accolades for only serving himself, but those demands don't wash with individuals who know the difference between the politician and the leader.

That is another problem.

How many can actually discern the difference between a politician or a leader?

In 2016, America has been infiltrated by a self-serving politicians in every corner, while substantive leadership is severely lacking or non-existent.

In addition, it is the parasite political arena's intent to maintain political rule for as long as possible. But of course.

The politician is there to serve himself at the expense of everyone else and fool the masses into believing they have a choice - when in fact the integrity destitute politician will only serve whomever pays the most either in currency bribes or remuneration in the form of returned favors to special interests that contribute to maintaining the 'elevated' status of the politician.

Just as the professional trained killer mercenary thug will kill for whatever regime pays the most, the politician is also a prostitute to any special interest with a satchel full of cash.

It is a highly profitable game, and gangs of politicians will naturally band together so as not to upset the 'money for nothing and chicks for free' apple cart.

There are THOUSANDS of individuals who have filed papers to run for the office of POTUS in 2016.

Out of the thousands who file papers, the media picks their own 12-14 favorites, and promotes them, while the remainder are left on the trash heap of hope - even if the majority of those left behind are infinitely MORE QUALIFIED to do the job, than the most popularized select few promoted by the lapdog media.

Of course, those selected by the media conglomerates are ALL politicians - with ALL beholding to special interests (or the money part of the money-for-nothing equation), while the potential for anyone with true leadership abilities is quashed under the pile of pontificating rubble promoted by the media psy-opp of political deception.

Graham drops out of GOP presidential race

Posted By: Lymerick

Date: Monday, 21-Dec-2015 15:14:38

December 21, 2015

South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham, whose longshot bid to win the Republican presidential nomination never won traction among voters, is ending his campaign.

In a message to supporters and campaign volunteers, Graham said he felt confident that the Republicans would put forth a candidate who shares his ideals, especially around issues like national security.

“I’m far more confident today that our party will reject the Obama Doctrine of leading from behind and will provide the strong leadership America needs,” he said.

Graham was elected to the United States Senate in 2003 and is currently the senior senator from South Carolina. He sought to run a campaign as a moderate Republican, touting his years of government experience.

But in a race that has been dominated by outsiders like billionaire Donald Trump and Dr. Ben Carson, Graham’s insider status was a disadvantage. He was repeatedly relegated to the under card in GOP debates and was polling in the low single digits.

Graham’s exit thins a Republican field that has been repeatedly criticized for being overcrowded.

Bill Kristol: ‘We’ll Have to Start’ New Party If Trump Wins Nomination

On Monday, Weekly Standard editor-in-chief Bill Kristol tweeted out what the rest of the Republican establishment is thinking: better Hillary than Donald. Here’s the tweet:

Crowd-sourcing: Name of the new party we’ll have to start if Trump wins the GOP nomination?

Kristol isn’t alone. As I wrote at Daily Wire today, Politico’s Jeff Greenfield says, “If the operatives I talked with are right, Trump running as a Republican could well face a third-party run – from the Republicans themselves.” That follows last Thursday’s Politico column from former New Jersey governor Christine Todd Whitman, who compared Trump to Hitler and called him “evil,” and last Wednesday’s Politico column reporting that Jeb Bush’s aides “began looking into the possibility of making a clear break with Trump – potentially with the candidate stating that, if Trump were the nominee, Bush would not support him.”

I just want to say that before I even looked at this thread my only comment was going to be: The only candidate who holds any hope for the future of the US is Andrew Basiago...period. Now I say: The only candidate worth voting for is Andrew Basiago. Period.

This crowd shot from Donald Trump’s Massachusetts rally is absolutely mind-boggling

Donald Trump went to Lowell, Mass. — a town about five miles south of the New Hampshire border — for one of his now trademark big-arena rallies on Monday night. This is what the crowd looked like per WaPo's Jenna Johnson.

The building — named after the late Massachusetts Sen. Paul Tsongas (D) — holds 8,000 people, and local officials were estimating that it was filled to capacity or beyond. That is a MASSIVE amount of people — especially considering that the high temperature in Lowell yesterday was 29 degrees and Trump's rally didn't start until the evening.

This is what the line to get in looked like.

The Big Dog—Bill Clinton—Gets Fixed

January 4, 2016

William McGurn

"It was a muted Bill Clinton who stumped for his wife in New Hampshire on Monday.

Only a few weeks back, Mr. Clinton was thought to be Hillary Clinton’s “secret weapon.” Well, he has just made his first two appearances of the 2016 campaign—and the Associated Press describes him as “subdued,” while the New York Times says he “seemed to be on a tight leash.”

Not to mention how adrift he looked when a reporter asked him about Donald Trump’s slams about his treatment of women.

It’s not the first time the Big Dog has been fixed. Back during Mrs. Clinton’s first run for the Democratic nomination, her husband was stung by accusations of racism after he seemed to diminish Barack Obama’s landslide victory in the 2008 South Carolina primary by pointing out that Jesse Jackson had won that primary before. Mr. Clinton would later complain the Obama team had “played the race card” on him."

Hillary Clinton: A Career Criminal

Then add this to the story

Hillary Emails Reveal True Motive for Libya Intervention

January 6, 2016

Brad Hoff

Muammar-al-Gaddafi-768x511.jpg

Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi, murdered by Western-backed rebels on October 20, 2011, planned to create a gold-backed African currency to compete with the dollar and euro. (Photo: Jesse B. Awalt/US Navy

"The New Year’s Eve release of over 3,000 new Hillary Clinton emails from the State Department has CNN abuzz over gossipy text messages, the “who gets to ride with Hillary” selection process set up by her staff, and how a “cute” Hillary photo fared on Facebook.

But historians of the 2011 NATO war in Libya will be sure to notice a few of the truly explosive confirmations contained in the new emails: admissions of rebel war crimes, special ops trainers inside Libya from nearly the start of protests, Al Qaeda embedded in the U.S. backed opposition, Western nations jockeying for access to Libyan oil, the nefarious origins of the absurd Viagra mass rape claim, and concern over Gaddafi’s gold and silver reserves threatening European currency.

Hillary’s Death Squads

A March 27, 2011, intelligence brief on Libya, sent by long time close adviser to the Clintons and Hillary’s unofficial intelligence gatherer, Sidney Blumenthal, contains clear evidence of war crimes on the  part of NATO-backed rebels. Citing a rebel commander source “speaking in strict confidence” Blumenthal reports to Hillary [emphasis mine]:

Under attack from allied Air and Naval forces, the Libyan Army troops have begun to desert to the rebel side in increasing numbers. The rebels are making an effort to greet these troops as fellow Libyans, in an effort to encourage additional defections.

(Source Comment: Speaking in strict confidence, one rebel commander stated that his troopscontinue to summarily execute all foreign mercenaries captured in the fighting…).

While the illegality of extra-judicial killings is easy to recognize (groups engaged in such are conventionally termed “death squads”), the sinister reality behind the “foreign mercenaries” reference might not be as immediately evident to most.

While over the decades Gaddafi was known to make use of European and other international security and infrastructural contractors, there is no evidence to suggest that these were targeted by the Libyan rebels.

There is, however, ample documentation by journalists, academics, and human rights groups demonstrating that black Libyan civilians and sub-Saharan contract workers, a population favored by Gaddafi in his pro-African Union policies, were targets of “racial cleansing” by rebels who saw black Libyans as tied closely with the regime.[1]"

Still don’t think Donald Trump can win? This chart should convince you.

Chris Cillizza

January 9, 2016

"When people find out I am a political reporter, they usually have only one question for me: "Donald Trump can't really win this thing, can he?" My answer is always the same these days: Absolutely he can.

The reason is simple: Trump is the national front-runner, yes, but he is also ahead in a two key early states -- New Hampshire and South Carolina -- and a strong second in Iowa, the state that kicks the whole presidential process off on Feb. 1.

Could he totally collapse from that position? Sure. As we know from recent history, voters in Iowa and New Hampshire don't start paying all that close attention to the race until about 30 days or so out from the actual vote -- meaning that polling on what the race looks like tends to be an inexact science.

But the fact that Trump is ahead nationally and that he is running first or second in Iowa and New Hampshire is meaningful, argues Sam Wang over at the Princeton Election Consortium.

Wang's argument is that based on recent electoral history and where Trump stands in polling today, the real estate billionaire actually has a very good chance at being the Republican nominee. Look at where the past nominees in each party were at this time in national, Iowa and New Hampshire polling:

got me thinking of this

usa-elections_clinton-1.jpg?quality=100&

“I’m really not even a human being,” the Democratic presidential front-runner said during the Buzzfeed podcast, Another Round, on Sunday.

“I’ve seen more people that kind of don’t sweat, and other things, that make me think maybe they are part of the new race that he created: the robot race.”

When asked if she was implying that a “cyborg army” had been forming in the shadows, Clinton quickly went on the defensive.

“You have to cut this,” she quipped. “You can’t tell anybody this. I don’t want anybody to know this. This has been a secret until here we are in Davenport, Iowa, and I’m just spillin’ my electronic guts to you.”

She later added that the “weirdest thing about her” was the fact she doesn’t sweat

FBI's Clinton probe expands to public corruption track

January 11, 2016

By Catherine Herridge, Pamela Browne

"EXCLUSIVE: The FBI investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of private email as secretary of state has expanded to look at whether the possible “intersection” of Clinton Foundation work and State Department business may have violated public corruption laws, three intelligence sources not authorized to speak on the record told Fox News.

This new investigative track is in addition to the focus on classified material found on Clinton’s personal server.

"The agents are investigating the possible intersection of Clinton Foundation donations, the dispensation of State Department contracts and whether regular processes were followed," one source said.

Clinton, speaking to the Des Moines Register, on Monday pushed back on the details of a second investigative track. According to reporter Jennifer Jacobs, Clinton said Monday she has heard nothing from the FBI.

"No, there’s nothing like that that is happening," Clinton said, according to a tweet from Jacobs.

Experts including a former senior FBI agent said the bureau does not have to notify the subject of an investigation."

Billionaire businessman Donald Trump; Texas Sen. Ted Cruz; Florida Sen. Marco Rubio; retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson; New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie; former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush; and Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

The participants qualifying for the earlier, 6 p.m. ET debate are:

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul; former HP CEO Carly Fiorina; former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee; and former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum.

However, the Paul campaign said Monday night it does not plan to participate.

This is the first time Paul has not qualified for a prime-time debate and his campaign, within minutes of the announcement, issued a statement complaining about the criteria."

Ex-DOJ official: Twisted Hillary scandal 'is felony corruption'

Toensing and her husband, former U.S. Attorney Joe diGenova, have both stated multiple times that they believe large portions of the FBI will revolt if Lynch fails to indict Clinton and would make it their mission to get their findings to the public.

She said Lynch is feeling immense pressure from both sides.

"I think there will be a recommendation from the FBI to the Justice Department," she said. "Maybe the Clinton people will get to Loretta Lynch. Maybe people will tell her she'll never eat lunch in this town again. But I think if she doesn't go along with the FBI recommendation, she won't eat lunch in this town again anyway."

I have made it very clear that I won't vote for Clinton, period, because of Bill, Benghazi, and Gadaffi/Libya. My question becomes, who exactly is it "they" really want in the White House?  Someone who isn't running yet, maybe? or ?  My intuition tells me there is much more, going on behind the scenes.

They want Barack Obama to be the last President. All they have to do is create enough turmoil before November to authorise him to cancel the elections.

That thought did occur to me too, until I read about him allegedly trying to purchase a $4.9 million house in Dubai.  If true, someone paid him a lot of money to destroy this country, and his having that kind of money needs investigation before he leaves office!

He has no real power Breezy, no President has and if they try to do the right thing they are killed off. There are bigger players running this game than Barack Obamam who are intent on destroying both the USA and Europe (at this stage.

To have a residence in a non extradition country just in case seems a wise move for him, if true. Problem is we are already well into a time where we simply cannot believe anything on face value.

Obama says Michelle Obama will not run for president

January 14, 2014

Darlene Superville

"BATON ROUGE, La. — It used to be that death and taxes were the only certain things in life, but for President Barack Obama there is a third: Michelle Obama will not run for president.

With Obama now in his final year in office, the focus naturally has shifted to who will succeed him. At a town hall event Thursday with Louisiana residents, Obama was asked if there’s any chance he could talk the first lady into running.

His answer? An emphatic “no.”

“There are three things that are certain in life: Death, taxes and Michelle is not running for president,” he said. “That I can tell you.”

I had wondered if it were possible she might run, but think Biden would be more likely.  Considering A Pres. makes $400,000 a year, guess it's possible a $4.9 million house would be affordable for one.   Guess I just don't think big enough.

Former VP candidate Palin endorses Trump in 2016 race

January 19, 2016

Jill Colvin

"AMES, Iowa (AP) -- Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump received the endorsement Tuesday of conservative firebrand Sarah Palin, giving the billionaire businessman a potential boost less than two weeks before Iowa's kick-off caucuses.

"Media heads are spinning," the former vice presidential candidate said after taking the stage at a Trump rally at Iowa State University. "This is going to be so much fun."

Palin, the former governor of Alaska and 2008 GOP vice presidential pick, said that, with Trump as president, America would no longer apologize.

"No more pussy-footing around," Palin said.

The endorsement comes as Trump is locked in a dead heat with Texas Sen. Ted Cruz in Iowa. The two have been ramping up their attacks against one another as the election has neared."

Ben Carson team in fatal crash, campaigning suspended

January 19, 2016

"Washington (AFP) - Republican Ben Carson temporarily suspended his US presidential bid when four members of his campaign team were involved in a fatal car accident in Iowa, where the first votes in the nomination process will be cast.

A van transporting the group "hit a patch of ice and flipped on its side where it was struck by another vehicle," Carson's campaign said in a statement, released on Tuesday.

A volunteer named as Braden Joplin, 25, died, while three others including a campaign staffer who was driving the vehicle were checked and later released from a hospital.

"I'm suspending all campaign activities today due to a car accident involving members of our team," Carson said on Twitter.

His campaign said Carson was to travel from South Carolina to Omaha to meet the dead volunteer's family and will later make a statement.

Rivals Marco Rubio, Ted Cruz and Rick Santorum all tweeted their support for Carson's campaign team after the accident."

Governor Branstad says he wants Cruz defeated in Iowa

Less than two weeks before the state holds its first-in-the-nation caucuses, Gov. Terry Branstad said he would like to see Texas Republican Ted Cruz fall in Iowa..

Branstad told reporters Tuesday that Iowans would make a mistake in supporting Cruz, a U.S. senator leading polls in Iowa and a staunch opponent of the Renewable Fuel Standard.

"Ted Cruz is ahead right now. What we’re trying to do is educate the people in the state of Iowa. He is the biggest opponent of renewable fuels. He actually introduced a bill in 2013 to immediately eliminate the Renewable Fuel Standard. He’s heavily financed by Big Oil. So we think once Iowans realize that fact, they might find other things attractive but he could be very damaging to our state," Branstad said at the Iowa Renewable Fuels Summit in Altoona.

Davos elite alarmed at prospect of nominee Trump

January 21, 2016

By Carmel Crimmins and Martinne Geller

"DAVOS, Switzerland (Reuters) - "Unbelievable", "embarrassing" even "dangerous" are some of the words the financial elite gathered at the World Economic Forum conference in the Swiss resort of Davos have been using to describe U.S. Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump.

Although some said they still expected his campaign to founder before his party picks its nominee for the November election many said it was no longer unthinkable that he could be the Republican candidate.

Some noted that whatever the outcome, a heated campaign, which has also seen self-proclaimed Socialist Bernie Sanders provide a tough challenge to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination, could alter the U.S. political environment, giving vent to new populist anger on both sides of the political divide.

Trump's nationalist rhetoric, particularly proposals to ban Muslims from entering the United States, tax goods made abroad and build a wall on the Mexican border, were never the sort of thing to appeal to the free trade crowd that typically gathers at events like the annual Davos economic forum."

National Review, conservative thinkers stand against Trump

Dylan Byers

January 22, 2016

"Los Angeles (CNN)National Review, the conservative magazine founded by William F. Buckley, published a special issue on Friday opposing Donald Trump's bid for the presidency.

The cover -- with the headline "Against Trump" -- was tweeted by the magazine on Thursday night.

The issue features a blistering editorial that labels Trump a threat to conservatism, as well as essays by 22 prominent conservative thinkers from various ideological factions, in opposition to Trump's candidacy.

"Donald Trump is a menace to American conservatism who would take the work of generations and trample it underfoot on behalf of a populism as heedless and crude as The Donald himself," the editorial states."

HuffPost to publish anti-Trump kicker with all Trump coverage

The Huffington Post has started appending an editor’s note to the bottom of posts about Republican presidential contender Donald Trump, calling him a "racist," a "liar" and a "xenophobe," and reminding readers of his proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the United States.

“Note to our readers: Donald Trump is a serial liar, rampant xenophobe, racist, birther and bully who has repeatedly pledged to ban all Muslims -- 1.6 billion members of an entire religion -- from entering the U.S.,” reads the note, which was added to an article about Trump’s feud with Fox News published last night. The note also includes links to prior coverage of Trump's comments.

America 2016: We’re mad as hell and not going to take it anymore

January 29, 2016

BY LESLEY CLARK, ANITA KUMAR AND MARIA RECIO

McClatchy Washington Bureau

"MARSHALLTOWN, IOWA

Craig Ziemke has voted for Democrats all his life, including twice for President Barack Obama. Not this year.

“The whole country is going to hell,” the 66-year-old retired factory worker said, standing against the bleachers at a high school gymnasium while waiting for Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to arrive. Ziemke’s fury is deep: Roads and bridges in the U.S. are falling apart, jobs are scarce and the U.S. border is wide open, he says.

“We’re letting all these people into the country. No one even knows who the hell they are,” he said. “We don’t need any more Arabs. The United States, anymore, is just a dumping ground for everyone.

Ziemke plans to caucus for a Republican on Monday – and likely for Trump, “the only one with brains,” he said.

If Obama’s 2008 campaign in Iowa and beyond defined the election as one of “hope and change,” this year may well be described as the politics of rage.

In interviews with dozens of voters in both parties, the driving motivation across the state is anger and uprising. They’re fed up with lawmakers in Washington, who seem to work two or three days a week and get little done aside from raising money to stay in office. They’re mad about stagnant wages, companies sending jobs overseas and terrorists sneaking in across the border."
